Letter from Semuto to President Museveni (contd.)
Last updated : 14 June 2008, Kampala

Hullo radio katwe listeners, I salute you all. I recently wrote a letter to Presiendt Museven from Semuto about compeansation for lost property in the Luwero Triangle. Today I would like to continue where I left off.

I would like to ask this presidential adviser called Hajji Sseddunga of Semuto, what have you advised the president about serious issues affecting the so called 'Abalwaanyi bange'? (lit. "my fighters"). This is how M7 calls people from Semuto. Mr. Sseddunga, you recently went to Kyankwaanzi and amongst other things this crook promised to do after the reading of the Budget, was to release the so called package for the 'Abalwaanyi bange'. MR. President, who do you think you are fooling? You have fooled the so called 'Abalwaanyi' for over twenty years and you are contuining with you usual antics. Many of them have even met their deaths before the so called package. Is this not another pack of lies mister?

you suggested Mr. President a full re-payment package for all those who supported the protracted struggle to dislodge your partners in crime (you worked with both Amin and Obote). There are many atrocities you have committed against the people of uganda in general. We cannot forget this, you have gone into the corridors of history as the most brutal, rutheless bastard Ugandans have ever had.

Can I remind you, what you said in Kyankwaanzi? It was your usual siyasa mbu 'people have been saying naberabira' but this is your time balwaanyi bange. What have they got in return?

As part of your ressettlement package, you earnestly promised to compensate cows you ate for free. Todate, how many people have you compensated? What you did through your biwaani promises, was to give a selected few one cow per family. But Mr. President did you eat only one cow from families in the whole of Kangave, Masulita, Semuto, Mawale, Lukaaka, Nakaseke and other areas? People would be very much contented if you dared not make biwani promises (Byoya Byanswa)

I reminded you Mr.President that all these areas were self-sustaining meeting almost every need of the people. Is Luwero Triangle much better off after your twenty two years in power? Recently whilst in London, Mr. President you told other heads of state that Uganda is self sustaining, that we used to pour milk away but your bogus Indian investors brought milk coolers so we dont throw away the surplus anymore.

On this very point Mr. President, abalimi be Semuto balina(do the farmers in Semuto have) any milk coolers in the area? I remember very well, in Semuto before we stupidly and blindly followed your siyasa, we had a milk plant in Nvuye. Have you ever thought about replacing some of these useful structures that local people need so desperately? Bannnaffe, abe (Our friends) in Mbarara and your area have plenty of these milk chillers. So, you should stop fooling the people of Semuto on this matter. We deserve better that this Mr. President. I will continue to enlighten those you have contuniously blind-folded via the likes of Hajji Sseddunga and Sula Sserunjogi.

on the issue of education, which you categorically stipulated in many of your manifestos, do we have any good schools in this area? Leave alone this 'Bonna Basiruwale' ("universal mis-education"), why dont you scrap this Welfare Office which has enriched the likes of Edward Ssengonzi, Reverand Rubunda, Sikubwabo Kyeyune and others? children of the poor 'Abalwaanyi bange' are no way near good private education.

I will be happy when you internalise these issues, act upon them or at least some of them so that the people of Semuto can be proud of the dislogement of your partners in crime.

for God and my Country.

yours: Son of Semuto

Dear Editor.
I salute all your readers and just like some of them, Iam also from Semuto, and to be specific, I'm from Kanyanda/Bulamba. As we all know, this was the epic center for all activities but to my dismay, I recently travelled to Luwero and I can confess to the world that this area is in total ruin. Our people were not only deceived by the so called liberators but robbed!

I travelled from Kampala thru Matuga, Ssanga, Gombe, Busikiiri,Kiloro, Kalasa, Kanyanda, Kagembe, Mawale, Semuto, Kalegge, Kilema, Busunju, Kikandwa up to Bukomero and back to Kampala thru wakiiso and all I could see was destruction streching miles and miles. Twenty plus years now and nothing has been done for the natives of Luwero. The roads are full of not just potholes but trenches and the electricity that was promised soon after the war has never been provided!

Luwero has the worst schools with no scholastic materials! The Hospitals are now a creature of the past! Our people are locked into perpertual poverty with no hope for to-day or tommorrow.

Our families didn't only shelter this man M7, but they loved him, trusted him and many times nursed him like one of their own. But with all that where are the rewards?

I think that it is time for Luwero to stop crying over spilled milk and act bravely for the future of our children and grand children. Luweroans have been famous for many things starting from way back in the days!! We remember the "boycot no 9", it was the Luwero people! We remember the kikyusa incident, it was the Luwero people, and we brought M7 and all his henchmen to where he is. Luwero, "awakula ennume te wakula Emu". Luwero, this is our time, this our momment. Our fathers and our ancesters were brave and had vision for us and we shouldn't let it slip away.

Hallo, Am writing in addtion to that guy from Semuto.

For me I live exactly in Semuto but the last time I saw president in my village (Semuto ) was in the time of votes. I saw him singing the word abalwanyi bange, I got anoyed. Where I was, my friends just prevented me because I wanted to ask him Mr. President what have you done for them? If it is nothing then shat up your beak.

After singing abalwanyi bange he started talking about Matuga Semuto because the people in the crowd were shouting "olugudu olugudo!!!("the road, the road"), then he said "lukuto lwabalwanyi bange balutandiika enkya, nze okujya wanno maze kwogera ebenginiya abgenda okulukora paka butarangu" (roughly, contruction on the road for 'my fighters' will begin tomorrow, I have already spoken to the engineers who are going to work on it) those were his words. But up to now nothing done.

Mr. president we are tired tired tired tired tired and tired of your lies.

The person who was trying who was trying to help the people of Semuto (Ssengoze) he cut him off from the office, then what kind person is that?

I let him know to wait for what is coming to him soon.
bye

Dear Editor:

To the residents of Semuto and all Ugandans.

Without a single doubt all the trust and respect from Ugandans to M7 has been defiled and abused. M7 is already looking at the 4th term of robbing as if he's not had enough. This fella is forgetting that Ugandans made him and they can break him. If it wasn't for the sons of the Triangle and the rest of the country, M7 would still be in Sweden living on welfare benefits. But you only have to travel around the country to realise how much this fella (Ali-baba) and his bandits have raped the land leaving it totally ruined and a total waste.

I maintain that experience is the best teacher. All Ugandans have had their lesson conducted by the chief thief himself, God help us this guy won't know what hit him after the elections. He cannot steal 20million votes. The problem is Ugandans will be decieved with, "we gave you sleep, peace, rights, liberty, etc" as if these are not God given rights. We're meant to have them only the're meant to uphold them. COME THE VOTING DAY, ALL UGANDANS SHOULD VOTE AGANIST M7 AND IT'S MY PRAYER THAT THE OPPOSITION WILL UNITE AGANIST THIS GUY.

M7 FEW WORDS FOR YOU. MENNE MENNE TERKEL PERSIN!!

Reply to a contributor from Semuto.

Indeed M7 used the people of Luwero to push through his dream of the Tutsi empire using BUGANDA and BAGANDA and ultemately annex BUGANDA by the TUTSI JUNTA ! Luwero or Bulemezi was one of the richest areas of Buganda . It had it all, people, coffee, cotton, food, water and forests.

M7 knew that to weaken Buganda he had to destroy Luwero and he succeded in doing it. Over 300,000 Baganda were killed through lies and manipulations. By the end of the war Luwero was in ruins and his foot soldiers continued to Rwanda, Burundi and Congo. M7 is a threat to Buganda, our land, kingdom, values and above all our very existance as a people!
