Old snakes, new skins

Dear fellow Ugandans,

The PGB is back from Kanyaryeru after the so-called Heroes day celebrations.

Whenever we are back at our base (State House Entebbe), we always find hot news at our intelligence-analyzing center at Nsamizi Hill.

As the English say, "birds of the same feathers flock together", so do snakes.

One of the staff has just informed us that he has evidence that Yoweriiiiiii Teeeeeeeeeeeee Museveniiiiiiiiii, the treacherous black mamba is "flocking" together with another snake in the form of a cobra, one Paul Biya, current president of Cameroon.

Ugandans should by now know that Yoweri the snake keeps on shedding its skin from time to time. And as Ugandans plan for the year 2011 to hit the head of this snake, for him as far as he is concerned 2011 is "fixed", and the serpent is already 3 steps ahead planning to shed its skin for the year 2016 when it gets older.

According to State House intelligence agents, Yoweri the treacherous snake sent one of its closest and most trusted henchmen, Major General Kahinda Otafiire to Cameroon to consult with and study how Biya intends to go about changing the constitutions to remove the age limit.

Fellow Ugandans, whereas most people now claim that Yoweri the black mamba's greatest friend is another snake, a certain Mugabe the puff adder, the truth is that the black mamba is more in love with Biya the Cobra!

Have a nice day as we also rest after a week of duty.

Lt. [xx xxx] State House

Editors comment: Paul Biya's politics are remarkably similar to Museveni's. Reports say Biya became president after his predecessor Ahmadou Babatoura Ahidjo was "tricked" into resigning when a doctor told him he had a terminal illness and only a short time left to live.

As soon as Paul Biya assumed power, he turned onto his former boss and made him flee into exile.

Biya is a committed practitioner of "African democracy" aka phony elections. In the first election in 1994, he "won" 99.98% of the vote. But this sensitive soul was so hurt by international criticism for stealing votes that in the next 2004 elections, he hired his own 'election monitors' - no less than six ex-U.S. congressmen to certify his "victory" and assuage his delicate conscience.

Then he got the constitution amended to remove the two term limit so that he can run again in 2011 ("it is undemocratic to limit the people's choice").

But they seem to have forgotten something. Biya is now 75. So the constitution will have to undergo another round of invasive surgery if it is to fit the diminished frame of an octogenarian president. Time does not stand still even for dictators.

Requesting info on "Amudat group" Rwandans

Does any one have any information about a group of Rwandese nationals who used to own and run Amudat Primary school in Bwaise, Kawempe-Kampala?

It is widely believed that Amudat Primary school was one of the operating bases for the RPF in Uganda from 1990 to 1994.

Rumor has it that the head of this "Amudat" group, Lt. Jonathan Bagambe, was killed alongside Fred Rwigyema on the same day. A year later, his brother Joseph Sekajja was killed mysteriously somewhere in Kampala. I would like to know what happened to the families of these men.

News on Bakulu-Mpagi Wamala Grace surfaces

Hi, this is a reply to the person that was asking about Bakulu-Mpagi Wamala Grace, though you got the Christian name wrong.

He was known to me though at the time I was very junior to him. He was from a strong Baganda catholic family, son of a chief in Mawokota. Fluent in French and went to school in in Kitovu.

He was severely criticised, ostracized and ridiculed by his family for having joined the "balaalo" and become their "muleebesi" (hanger on). He was extremely brilliant and a good writer but had developed Marxist views while in Makerere and become UPM's publicist.

After the 1981-86 bush war he was selected to be UN ambassador but the sectarian wrangles that you see now had already developed and surfaced to his detriment.

At the time he was staying at his brother-in-law Eng. Henry Nalikka of then UEB in what is now Lohana Academy but at the time was Kololo View Girls hostel. His family had been left in Canada.

He was invited for a drink at Fairway hotel by some unknown individuals and poisoned. He never told anyone who they were though on several occasions spies were sent to the family to inquire if they knew who had invited him for that drink. He, knowing fully well the nature of his killers clearly kept quiet to protect his wife Florence (who recently died in Canada).

Those of us who saw the power struggles and tribalism in the early NRM have no doubts as to who ultimately is always behind the murder of people who stand up to him and can out-reason him publicly. I dont know why Ugandans like Mayombo never learnt. Could it be the naive assumption that if you serve a monster you are immune to him? This is a misconception and delusion that even Otafiire, Amama, and Tinyefunza will fall victim to.

Thank you sir for sharing this valuable information.

About the Otafiire's and Amama's of this world, there is another view which we would like to tell Ugandans. The real delusion is to think that these gentlemen are deluded or have misconceptions about the situation.

Two Ugandans that have made a fortune in Iraq

There are reports that two Ugandan-born Americans have made a fortune in Iraq. Information coming from Baghdad suggests that these two Ugandans are working in Baghdad as US Department of Defense contractors.

They are always driven in posh cars and escorted by Black Tower security guards. According to the information, these two Ugandans were educated in the USA and hold Masters degrees from one of the prestigious Universities. They are both Banyankole from Mbarara and are said to be well connected to State House (the Museveni government).

One of them is Arthur Kiiza, brother to Brig. Henry Tumukunde, the former ISO chief who fell-out with dictator Museveni. The other is Richard Kamugisha, son of Col. John Mateeka-the former Ugandan Military attache to the US.

A source claims they are now both US citizens and that is how they got these big jobs in the Department of Defense.

Arthur and Richard are close friends. They have been together for a long time and always move together. Another source claims that the two are well connected with a powerful Congress man and have been strong supporters of presidential hopeful Barak Obama.

They always move with body guards and sometimes try to hide their USA identity cards so that the names are not recognized by Ugandans who are working in Iraq.
