That is total miss leading, Dr. Samson Kisekka never died in the UK, he died at Mulago Hospital.

I have read with sadness the sacking of Rupiny editor moreso having been convinced from his old job at Gulu Independent Hospital to work for Rupiny again.

It is not suprising the way New Vision is administered by opportunists like Kabushenga famed for having undermined his former bosses Conrad Nkutu and later William Pike to take over their jobs. It also reminded me of a prominent journalist that had taken another sister paper ORUMURI to its greatest heights, namely Jossy Muhangi who was equally terminated on flimsy charges when he published a story with empirical evidence of an MP's bounced cheque scanned and attached to the story. Kabushenga alleged an avalanche of libel notices. But as a lawyer why could he not defend such cases? It is no wonder Els and Mboijana are not working independently. This was the reason Esether Byakika resigned as HRM joining NH&CC because none respected her professionalism.

The last I heard was that New Vision had replaced Muhangi, a pioneer graduate of Mass communication MUK with a mediocre Runyakitara stooge called Deus Ruhangariyo under whose patronage the paper never sells beyond 4,000 copies from formerly 20,000 copies per week. I remember the orumuri paper had even become a bi-weekly due to performance but is curretnly staggering with no single qualified journalist in its establishment.

Thanks to the insight into Capt.Yosa role in Amin's government. Well I would like the reader to refer to Col. (now Brig.) Bernard Rwebuhuru's book 'Cross to the Gun' published by Monitor Publications. In that book, it clearly shows that Capt. Yosa was part and parcel of SRB as second in command in 1979.

By that time, Lt.Col Francis Itabuka was deployed in FortPortal/Mubende sector, and its rumoured that he tried his level best to save the life of Brig. Yorokamu B Tizihwayo as he was his personal friend. When he (Brig.Tizihwayo) was arrested in Kasese and being transported to Kampala, Itabuka set up road blocks along the FortPortal/Mubende road to try and rescue his friend.

So, its unfortunate Capt.Yosa is dead, I understand Lt.Col Itabuka is alive somewhere in Busoga region.

Please RK readers, try to be objective. It's not about tribe but lives of Ugandans lost. Could it be the late Brig. since he was from Ankole could have led to the arrest of Capt. Yosa for the killings as you stated in your earlier article?

Hello Radio katwe, its my pleasure writting to you and its about the land issue.

I read some papers last month and the president was saying that any body who knows a Muhima who has ever taken Buganda land forcefully should come up and say so. Well, this is my opportunity to remind you of the 1991/3 incidences in sembabule district where Tinyefuza armed all the Bahima and drove us all (the Baganda) from our ranches. They took all the cows on the ranches, re-demarcated the land and they took at least 2sq miles from every Muganda. They also forcefully took the land titles from us and cut us off from the land and even took the dams and dips.

They promised to compensate us 70m for every sq mile that was confiscated but to date no penny has ever been paid to us. Please make reasearch about it and I hope to read it from you soon

Dear Radiokatwe, someone told me that there is a guy called Jamil kaketo who is the head of the thugs terrorising Ugandans and he is funded by Museveni and his generals.

Police know about him but they pretend not to. He his deadly and uses State guns and machinery. Please investigate about this man Jamil Kaketo.

Here is a piece written on Museveni sponsored Uganda At Heart Forum (UAH). It is moderated by one Abby Semuwemba a north London-based Museveni's spy.

UAH was created or started to counter Radio Katwe and it is used by Museveni's spies and security agents. It has some journalists who are planted to confuse Ugandans.

One Ahmed Kateregga Musaazi attacked Radio Katwe and he said that,

Even when Amin took Moses and Mwanga at a rally in Jinja, Radio Katwe adamantly continued with its wild rumours. It is doing the same to President Museveni. I had chosen to ignore this and I was considering pooling out of this forum (UAH) because it was trning into Radio Katwe. But when I see you my sister joining the same, that is why I have reacted.

As for Mzee Paul Etiang, I admire him from being an AGIP (Any Government in Power). He was with Museveni, Bidandi Ssali, Wannume Kibedi in UPC Youth Wing which was plotting to fight Obote from within. He landed when he was appointed Uganda's High Commissioner to UK. Amin brough him back made him State Minister President's Office, chairing oau Council of Ministers in 1975, Assistant Secretary General OAU and one of the brains behind the Lagos Plan of Action etc?. In my view, Etiang is older than Museveni and joined politics earlier. Museveni should be succeded by a younger person like Bukenya, Amama, Mukula, Kyaligonza, Hyuha, than those older than him who may be tainted by evens of 1966, 1971, 1979 etc?"

In his latest posting on Uganda at Heart Kateregga said that,

You guys, the Monitor news paper never cease to amuse. At least now we can take the credit to Radio Katwe for making us to be literate about the games that Ugandan media plays to perpetually keep its citizen ignorant about the M7 regime.

I worked as a sales excutive in The so called Uganda Telecom some time back.

We would sell wireless land lines at 240 000 and we were given only 10 000 shillings out of a sale. It is so funny that somebody selling a wireless land line at 240 000 and you pay him or her 10,000 with out transport and food.

Imagine how much money comes out of that land line every month.Can you believe this?

I do not know that company's policies these days but ugandans are suffering at the expense of one major problem or tribe.

Think of this my friends who read radio katwe and think of the 10% commission given to some one who struggles to get a sale for your company.Think of how much money you will make in that product.And think of the exploitation ugandans are facing then think of the feature.

I believe that is not a proper way of marketing and belive that is why the other companies like MTN has better pollicies and that is why they have a big customer base in the country.

In Uganda people who lose their jobs under dubious circumstances even when their perfomance speaks volumes and are persecuted is not surprising especially if there is a lot of moneys involved. We from the North build and the others just take over and run down the organisation.

I recall how our mum sacrificed and built NSSF and now we the 45 orphans have dropped out of school because there is nobody to pay fees for us. We never had luxury at all like other children from homes of other politicians and our friends used to get suprised when they visited us in our humble home. We have never spoken but with those who graduated before us our numbers are many. Whether we shall continue with education or not we will survive by the grace of God in this Uganda. Those of you who watched the proceedings in Uganda Parliament last week must have seen how the only man in NRM Cabinet who had respect by everybody made a fool of himself by reading a statement given to him by his masters to defend Police brutality.

Ndugu Rugunda, we all know that your political carrier is only hinged on your personal friend Museveni since the People of Kabale rejected you as a non performer, but you don't have to bend so low for the salary you get.

Let the Kaihuras swallow whatever is pushed down their throat because they have no choice, and not much is know about their upbringing which may not be admirable; but for a man of your calibre, brought up by respectable parents and in not so poor a family, you should keep and die with your dignity.

UNAIDS, Global Fund, GAVI Fund, the Bush Administration, Belinda/Gates, British government, all these have given Yoweri Museveni a lot of money that doesn't have accountability apparently to fight a single virus HIV blamed for the death of our population.

When the AIDS COMMISSION based in president's office was in question, the president's adviser said that HIV/AIDS was the president's initiative! In otherwords it was Museveni's personal business and company. Now the HIV/AIDS INC. is falling apart Peter Piot has resigned and that is good news!

For the last two decades while Ugandans were denied the basics of Health care, all the local hospitals and dispensaries in all the districts of Uganda broken down during the so called revolutionary war to fight Dr Obote until today. Nothing has been done to bring back the infrastructure after 20yrs of NRM in power but blame HIV/AIDS for our people's death.

Can you imagine if all that money from those AIDS funders and the Western governments was put in our hospitals and education, farming and so forth where Uganda would be today? Definitely HIV/AIDS big money paid well Museveni instead of saving Ugandans from malaria, mulnutrition, TB and all poverty related deseases.

Now he is calling for a death penalty for those knowingly infecting others, this has been his recent song everywhere he went. Watch out for his next move! It has taken some Ugandans twenty years to find out that actualy Museveni never fought for them at all, I hope it won't take you longer to figure out HIV/AIDS is Museveni's number one weapon and it has worked wonders for him. I have to remind fellow Ugandans that Museveni didn't inflict all this on his own, fellow Ugandans has and still do the work for him.

Can someone tell us why the president of Uganda has accepted to join commedians (Banakatemba) without shame?

Do you remember when the people who took over the Diary Company oganised a false shipment of powdered milk and invited the president to flag it off? I can't believe that the President didn't know that the shipment was faked and it didn't go anywhere.

Do you all remember when a whole President of Uganda went to Open a CT SCAN intrument installed in one of the rooms on Bomombo Road. This is a diagnostic instrument expected to be in any referal Hospital but when one of his friends or a frient of his relatives bought it, a whole President went to luanch it.I understand it didn't even work for a year.

You remember when another mock export launch of AGOA products was organised by Mrs Muhwezi,the whole President went to be mocked. I wonder how many bales of clothes we export as of today.

Recently he launched the Tractor assembly line in Kampala, I hope this is not part of his free entertainment he treats Ugandans to.

I wouldent mind our President joining Kaibanda and Pady Bitama in the commedy industry, but I mind about the expence used to organise his performance.

These people dnt knw about wat goes on everyday in UG, he said that Asians and Europeans ave come to UG and made something for them selves, well let me tell him how this has been done, 1st of all the govt has this belief that anyone that?s not Ugandan is superior to a Ugandan, how? They use the term ?investor? im from William street and as this person mite know, there main businesses at William are mobile phone retails, there is this 1 chinese man or ?investor? he is doin exactly the same thing as us Ugandans selling fones, and where does he buy his phones from? MY FRIEND! And my friend buys his phones from Dubai, he actually goes to Dubai to buy what he sells and this Chinese man has a 6year tax holiday to sell fones?!!!! You see this is done to oppress the Ugandan and my friend is telling us to go farm! In Kampala the examples go on, numbers and numbers of Indians have businesses and Chinese, businesses that Ugandans can do but these foreigners get tax holidays!! In Europe where this critic is im sure he knows they wouldn?t stand for this! How can u oppress ur own people on the expense of foreigners!!!

Explain to me how a army officer, a 1 Cl. Mugenyi has enough money to buy just about every market property in kampala? Wat do u want ppl to make of this? Who are we to blame? Responding to what is written about Mr. RAMESH MASRANI. This guy has done more harm than good to his business partners.

1. Mr. Ben Mutyaba once a General Manager of Uganda Airlines together with RAMESH worked out a plan to sell two departments of the company ie Ground handling now ENHAS and In-flight Service(UIS). ENHAS first year of service saw a loss of $500,000 in hands of Financial Controller employed by RAMESH. Was this a ploy between HIM and the Finance man? ENHAS is owned by SAM KUTESA.

2. East African Airlines was formed in 2002. Brains behind it were RAMESH, BEN MUTYABA, SAM KUTESA AND KABUNAKUKI. EAA obtained funding from Government worth $1,000,000 and was to promote NBO route. Sources say it was channeled to Congo by RAMESH and never refunded back. Also cheated creditors using MR. Obbo disguising the company being liquidated.

3. Hanover was a company operated by RAMESH overseeing EMIRATES activities in Uganda. Sources say there was massive theft of dollars in Hands of Financial controller a cousin to RAMESH.

4. SPEED BIRD a forex bureau owned by RAMESH is reported not doing well with Bank of Uganda. It is used to channel dollars to outside world with out knowledge of BOU.

The question is; is hon Sam Kutesa using RAMESH? Because he is a director in all those companies.

No matter how you are hunted you shall prevail. Thank you for informing Ugandans the rot in this government. Well we do appreciate, however before Ugandans kick out the dictator, there is need to start the entire plot with a credible electoral Commission. I have read your article on CHARLES OWOR. If the EC today had the caliber of staff like the late Owor, the dictator would be on his way out. You mentioned some rot in the electoral commission but you left out issues and dropped the articles afters a short while i hope it is not out of compromise as i have read an article where Monitor dropped rwabogo case, i felt let down by monitor.

A lot of rot is going on in EC, recently EC advertised many jobs internally and externally. The recruitment is bent to so called "cadres", the person behind the internal recruitment is a certain Byamugisha Jovita until this lady leaves EC you may as well swear the dictator is around for some time. Please refer to your previous articles on her.

Secondly there is a so called new breed of cadres in place they have taken up the influential slot. Kassiano Wadris wife for example was not shortlisted yet with all experience she is respected by staff. The reason need not be mentioned.

Investigate the recent resignations of staff. The Public relations officer has thrown in the towel, tired of defending emerging stories in the media which are often paid off by Rwakoojo.

He has been followed by his assistant The Senior Publicist, The Principal human resource, the Senior accountant, the Head legal dept to mention but a few.

So watch out if you think the dictator should leave, clean up EC first.

More on Electoral Commission recruitment: The returning officer of Masaka was not shortlisted for standing her ground in recent Bukomansimbi Election. The returning Officer of Mukono suffered the same fate for failure to follow 'guidelines to rig for Movementist Mukasa Anthony' in recent Buikwe elections that sent a DP candidate to parliamnet. All these are overqualified for the posts.

I dont know what u will term my article to. But u see in this Uganda its not only M7 who is the problem but even most of our MPs. Am a young gal, working in uganda and i stay in one of the suburbs of called Kyebando. That is why am request Radio katwe to deal with some sleeping MPs. The culprit goes by the names Latif Sebagala. Like his brother, who has contributed to the disorganisation of our city (as Kampala City Mayor -Ed), so has Latif Sabagala.

When ever Im going back home or coming back home, i want to even cry. And then i ask do we have an MP like other Divisions, in Kampala? Can u believe they can authorise the repair of Mulago road, but the Kyebando road has even more potholes in it. They repair and enlarge Kawempe road and Kyebando which is in the centre of these two zones is left untouched. I can tell u that even the road going Moroto is smoother and nicer than that of Kyebando.

u see am not a voter because i did not have a reason to do so because i think M7 is tired but yet we should be true to ourselves because in the opposition no one is proving to be better. Look at the MPs of DP in the central division, u can not say they will rule the country and bring prosperity when they have totally failed in just one district.

But because of the situation of Kyebando, am tired of staying in a place with bad road yet am paying alot of taxes like Pay as u Earn and the new tax which they have introduced (coomunity tax). So come next election is the opposition is intellegent and they group themselves and they show one person who is not Besigye bse he is a M7, at first they where together but bse of a woman they want to put our nation in disaster and not Sebbana DP can do better. But for area MP i already know who i will not give that is Latif Sebagala unless a change is made and maintained.

So please radio katwe, sometimes talk about some of these MPs, who wake up when it election time only

I would like to thank you for your sevice. Kazini indeed was with UNRF1 even we gave him our doughter the mother of his children. But after taking power he dumped her for his tribes-woman.

The father of the wife (our daughter) was called Abiriga, one of the UNRF officer. unluckily he was killed by Sudanesse soldiers when he had gone for rest inside sudan with his family. This is the true picture of these guys, they are not trusted at all.

Those of you who were studying at Makerere University and Makerere College School between 1975- 1978 know Taban Amin and the atrosities he committed.

Taban Amin, son of Idi Amin, failed his PLE exams at Entebbe Primary school aged around 18 years. He was given a scholarship to study in Russia. He spent 3-4 years there until he was dismissed for being too dense. He returned to Uganda and forced to study at Makerere University, residing at Nkuruma Staff houses. A P7 drop out, was studying English at Makerere!

While at Makerere, he went on rampage, tortured students and lecturers\teachers of MUK and MCS. He raped MCS girls and some of his girlfriends ended up doing S.6 exams from home. One time his bullets missed killing a teacher by the name of Yiga Matovu. He made us walk on knees in 1976/77 near Makerere Main gate.

Today, THIS IS THE MAN MUSEVENI ENTRUSTED TO BE THE DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF ESO.

I dont know if Kabali is still alive or not. This man kabali acquired City Pharmacy after hunting and handing over the owner, Dr. Paulino Wamala, to Amin Dada.

Dr. Wamala was the owner of Jjaja Marina at Gaba as well as some other businesses including City Pharmacy. Kabali was the general Manager of City Pharmacy, i.e an employee of Wamala. Even when Wamala run into exile in Kenya, Kabali made "Kase" deals and lured Wamala to pick it up at Kenya Busia boarder. Thats when Kabali's men ( Kabali was also a SRB agent) abducted Wamala to Kampala.

He was held in captivity for almost 4 months at SRB headquarters Nakasero. Many times he was allowed outside under armed escort to sign off his businesses and land titles to Amin and Kabali. Amin got Jjaja Marina\ Villas and Kabali got City Pharmacy.

I know the sons and daughters of Walama are still around. I wish they give us more information. This will help to give a warning to the present Mu7's men in Uganda, USA, etc that one day those riches will disappear and then be hunted like rats.

It's very interesting how people are crazy. How can someone suffering from joblessness and poverty have time to discuss issues like Museveni and whether he is seeing traditional healers or not?

Traditional healing is part and parcel of several traditional Ugandan cultures. The Kabaka of Buganda and other Kings of Bunyoro and Toro have shrines and traditional healers in their palaces. Nobody has been questioning them yet they set societal standards.

So why cant Museveni a Ugandan see a traditional fortune teller and healer? It is is individual right as Ugandan to have a right to religious belief or traditional practice.

Many of you here have been vaccinated by these healers, most of your businesses are thriving on witchcraft, and many politicians use witchcraft to fight each other and even in schools children are using witchcraft herbs to pass exams.

The list is endless...Museveni is African and I support him to continue seeing many traditional healers. The born-again churches have been accused of witchcraft; musicians have also been visiting the underworld. There is nothing new discussing this bullshit.

Why can't people discuss intellectual matters such as the issue of origin of Tutsi, Luo, Bantu and chwezi deeper? What about the biting poverty, Kony, Oil exploration and traffic jams in Uganda and schools and East African federation.

Indeed Museveni should continue governing even after 2011 and should handover to maybe his son or his brother. Because other Ugandans are not ready as observed from how and what they discuss on cyberspace. This would be the chance to engage in tough issues. Not whether a witchdoctor has visited Nakasero.

Could you please enlighten my beloved brothers and Sisters in Uganda particularly in the North about a recent documentary on Channel 4 a UK televison channel about the visit of a well known convicted Northern Ireland terrorist (AIRDRE currently living in exile in Scotland) and an exiled South African currently leaving in Germany. These two guys travelled to Uganda particularly to the North to start a school there.

Now, how did these guys pass through customs without them being seen as a threat to Ugandan security, and two why were they allowed or even embraced to start a school for orphans or child soldiers in our ever volatile country?

If the government can allow such elements to go through customs and into Uganda how many more dangerous elements are larking on Ugandan streets?Fellow Ugandans we are heading to the dog house as a nation we need to do something about it ASAP!!

Radio Katwe: anti-M7 forum?

When one reads most of the articles on your website, the first impression is that it is a forum of people who have a personal issue with M7. The attack on the man is so petty and personal that one wonders if this forum has any regulations or even a manager in the real sense! Or is it deliberate to leave if unregulated?

Most writers are so soaked in a swamp of hatred of M7 and his family to the extent that if they continue at this pace they will drawn in the same wave of hatred or end up hurting themselves in one way or another. But the greatest harm is on the RK forum which risks to appear as an anti individual president and his family on allegations with the most minimum shred of evidence. So RK, guard your professional reputation with everything you have.I am afraid you are losing ground very fast.That's if you are not playing on the minds of people who write on your forum.

From a suspicious angle,one would think that RK is just helping M7 to let people release all their hatred, anger and frustration in form of words rather than expressing themselves through an armed uprising. M7 would feel more comfortable being abused and insulted than being attacked by LRA-Kony style. Abusing him costs him nothing in terms of retaliation, while attacking him like Kony takes more lives and resources and sleepless nights.
