Whatever happened to the Luwero skulls? Where they given a decent burial? If not, where are they being kept? The real cause of death must be investigated by forensic experts to find out how they were killed. DNA tests can be performed to determine who are the relatives of these victims. If these tests are done, we should not be suprised that some of the deceased could be from northern uganda. During the NRA war not only military trucks but also some civilian buses and cars were ambushed along the Kampla/Gulu highway by the NRA. History will tell who realy did the killings.

Museveni has killed hundreds of children, women and men in Northern Uganda and he turned round and pointed a finger at Kony. Kony has been indicted and Museveni should also be indicted.

The deaths at Bar-Lonyo was purely Museveni's work and not Kony. M7 is really a nasty piece of work from hell!!!!! Museveni should account for the deaths of our people. This monster must be locked up.

I would like to mention that M7 has not killed in Acholi alone but in Luwero where over 300000 Baganda were killed, Rwanda and Congo where over 3million people were killed by M7. Indeed it is only a matter of time when M7 will be charged in Hague for crimes against humanity and genocide by the ICC.

I would like to thank you for keeping us informed, though far from Uganda. May you kindly update us on inofrmation regarding this once oustanding son of West Nile Mr. Atamvaku Zubair bin Naseem. He was a lecturer in the department of philosophy, Makerere University, and was elected by Arua Munincipality to represent it in the Constituent Assembly, thereafter nothing was heard of him. He was associated with West Nile Bank Front but did not feature on its officers list after the peace agreement. He is said to be a close relative of Hajat Omar Hanuna, a Presidential Advisor with whom Mr. Atamnvaku disagreed completely, especially the support of Museveni's govt.

A reader wrote asking about whereabouts of Zubairi Atamvaku. Zubairi died in Nairobi about three years ago. I can't remember the exact date.

What I can remember is that he died a dejected person living in Nairobi's filthy Kibera slums.

I don't remember details of the causes of his death but I'll reach a person who was very close to him in Nairobi and during his time in exile and give details about his death.

Atamvaku was one person with a near religious belief in the liberation of our country and paid the bitter price. I know he spent years in Kinshasa seeking for ways of assisting a struggle against Tuhaburwa's tyranny but to no avail.

Unfortunately for him he dealt a lot with people who were either double agents by design or double agents but force (those forced by the hardships of exile life to peddle information in order to be able to get some ugali.

Zubair Atamvako

This is to inform Clement O that Zubair Atamvako died in Nairobi Kenya several years ago of natural causes. This follows the failure of his rebel enterprise in which he wanted to turn Uganda over to the Sudanese Islamists.

When the rebellion he was leading failed he ended up in Nairobi where he lived a hard life of starvation, hunger, misery, poverty, disease, etc

Indeed Atamvako who I knew right from Makerere University was a person full of potential and who could have risen to greater heights in society had he not taken the route of rebellion. He was a potential who just got wasted and was used by the Sudanese Islamists to front their aganda for black Afrcica but who later abondoned him.

Dear editor thanks for this story of Zubairi this man was killed by M7 through hajat Anuna. this Zubairi was with me in Congo during the war we used to eat together in Kinshasa. he was staying in a hotel called Memeling and I was staying in Diplomat. we had good talks he told me about his escape from Uganda actually he was fearing for his life. a person was sent from Uganda to poison him. I had told him to come to London but he refused to come. he told me that he wanted to finish his job of liberating Uganda but this people got him like Mayombo first but his blood will haunt them until they will meet him in hell. this Anuna has killed many people not only Zubairi. she will meet her death like Zubairi too who had known that Sadam would die?

For the umpteenth time, I've read the Sowing the Mustard seed, by the one and only "Visionary", aka Yoweri Kaguta Museveni. On page 36, he discusses his first interest in Uganda's politics.

He recalls attending a UPC rally in 1963 at Nyamitanga, Mbarara, where a UPC campaigner, one Silvanus Baguma reportedly said that once an African government had taken power, it would never give it up. The Visionary goes to the extend of saying that the above statement so nauseated him that he started loathing UPC from then on. Guess who won't now give up power?

It would be interesting to review Museveni's Sowing the Mustard Seed if it were based on facts and written by the person of Museveni. But the unfortunate truth about this book is that it is a fiction, written by a ghost writer: Meaning somebody wrote it and Museveni owned it! Haven't you seen or read books claimed to be written by Wavamuno, which qualified him to become a Honorary Professor?

Except for pointing out fallacies, it would be a waste of time and brain-cells for anybody to review such a book and give more credence to a crook who does not deserve it.

Dear RK, Is there anybody who knows the relationship between President Museveni and the Uganda Revenue Authority Boss, Allen Kagina?

I am asking this question because it is very very rear for Museven to give such a highly paid job to a Ugandan with whom he has no relationship.

Either they have some blood relationship or she comes from Nyabushozi, or they have other relationships.

I highly doubt that Kagina is just a Ugandan who happened to be better qualified than those he competed with for the job.

Anybody who can throw some light?

A writer wanted to know the relationship between Allen Kagina, the URA boss, and our Looter-in-Chief, Yoweri Museveni.

Kagina is sister-in-law to Internal Affairs minister, Ruhakana Rugunda (his late wife's baby sister.) I got to know the Rugundas in Nairobi.

Kagina was an Economics student at a London University. During school breaks, she would come to live with her sister (Mrs Rugunda), who was already undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer. And even during school days, she would come for a weekend.

When he fled the gun fires in Luwero, the revolutionary sneaked into Nairobi and stayed with Rugunda for about 2 weeks. During his stay, NRA Historicals, such as the uncouth Local Govt. minister, Kahinda Otafire, Security minister, Amama Mbabazi and Amanya Mushega, who had just abandoned his Ph. D studies at the London School of Economics to join NRA rebellion, frequented Rugunda's house.

Frequently, when her sister went for treatment at Dr. Semu Nzibirwa's clinic in downtown Nairobi on Kimathi street, and Dr. Rugunda was away at his office in City Hall Annex, Allen and Kaguta were left home alone!

Around Kenyatta Day (Oct. 10, 1983, if I remember correctly), Mrs Rugunda took her younger sister to Dr. Kiiza Besigye at Nairobi Hospital, to terminate the unwelcome evidence of the nature of Allen and Kaguta's 'house keeping' a few months earlier. Museveni begged her not to tell Dr. Rugunda what had happened. Maybe that's the source of their closeness to date.

Allow me express my disgust with these NRM functionaries in UK recently using RK to wash their dirty linen. Does it not tell a story of its own, that rather than solve their domestic issues at home they bring them to a public space? If they have no problem- solving skills at a basic family unit level, how can they continue to lead Uganda?

Look at what is going on with the VP Bukenya. Women, women! These people are now loosing even the moral credibility to be referred to as leaders.

At the risk of appearing to defend my political opponent since am one of the FDC Diaspora leaders, I have to say that Dennis Katungi with whom I have interacted in a number of forums is the suave, diplomatic cadre of NRM with an incisive intellect. He is not the bullish "mavi ya kuku" (Kahinda Otafiire) type. It is unfortunate he is in NRM which has passed its sale by date.

I have engaged him several times and found him to believe in reasoned argument rather than the arrogance we normally see with NRM leaders including Museveni who uses barbs like "Swine" and Amama Mbabazi who thinks he is God's gift to mankind.

At one of our FDC debates. Katungi blundered and nearly got lynched! He, and the infamous NRM Home Office spy John Guma Komwiswa represented NRM in this debate we organised in Bermondsey. Unaware that our audience contained a sizeable number of ex-UNLAs, he made a remark while explaining the situation in the north "You have to understand that the core of the people who started the insurgency in the north and still sustain it are the same people in UNLA we chased from Luwero, who were killing our people there."

There was a commotion, with some people nearly throwing chairs at him. The guy remained unperturbed and when we had restored calm, he threw another barb: "You can clearly see why FDC is not ready for power, if people can nearly riot on just one sentence however unpalatable, how would they handle power, because you have to be ready to listen even to some of the things you don't like or agree with, and then counter with argument, not throwing things". I felt the point.

Twice, we have appeared on BBC Focus on Africa programmes together and I know he has also appeared with our own D.N at BBC Bush House. The fellow, is a very sharp apologist for NRM, but he also acknowledges the rot like corruption and argues for independence of the Judiciary. So, I treat him as a reasonable political opponent, not an enemy.

Looking at this now RK publicised "alleged" extra marital affair, One feels there but for the Grace of God! Let the one who has never done it cast the first stone.

His accuser, who the Forest Gate elder gave a name and the new posting adds a new name! appears to be a really angry and vindictive man which is perceptible in his style of writing. The recent posting is also from an angry person who seems to be threatening to reveal more. Where will this end, can't these people shut up for the sake of their families?

I was discussing the RK exchanges on these two so called "Love rivals" or those who write for them with some one who knows them better than me. He said to me, it is a lie that Katungi can claim to have been in the Military. What advantage does association with the Ugandan Military give to some one in UK? He then went on to tell me that probably it is his relations with Military families that is being properly mixed into a fake story.

He was married to General Tinyefuza's sister (now divorced), his sister or coursin sister? is the wife of the late Brigadier Mayombo and recently he re-married in another Military family of the late Col. Poteri Kivuna, so may be this is the military connection in the narrative.

All in all, if I was RK, I would bin stuff coming in about these two families because it can't be fair comment. Let's help them by denying them the space. Otherwise they or those who spur them on will cause them to tear each other apart on cyber.

Is the Daily Monitor a mouth pice of the NRM, or isit independent? Recently, the Monior carried out a story which is very misleading. The article, "DRC grants amnesty to LRA rebels" (see the Monitor of July 12, 2008).

A few days afterwards, the government's Newvision picked on the same story with the blessing of some UPDF offices. While this story would be a welcome news to some of us peace loving Ugandas, it's misleading and can work to the contrary.

The truth of the matter is; on July 12, 2008, the DRC National Assembly passed an Amnestly law. The law ONLY applies to Congolese who have committed acts of war and insurgency in North and South Kivu from radiookapi.net.

Several procurement scandals have rocked the UPDF in 1999, for example undersize uniforms from China, not up to standard food rations from South Africa, two out of four unserviceable Mi-24 helicopters and 90 second-hand tanks, several unserviceable, from Belarus.

During the last months of 1999/early months of 2000, Uganda purchased seven MiG-21 fighter aircraft from Belarus. Four MiGs were modified in Israel where its armament capacity and firepower were enhanced, avionics replaced and wing span changed. The four have arrived in the country and pilots have started testing and exercising with two of the MiG-21 planes.36

It seems that they are also in the process of buying more Mi-17 transport helicopters. An Israeli company, Silver Shadow, imported Stirling assault rifles into Uganda in 1999, probably to be used by the Presidential Protection Unit. President Museveni visited Belarus at the end of March 2000 to personally buy new weaponry, as he believes that the middlemen are taking too large a cut in arms deals. Museveni was interested in Stalin Organ multiple rocket launchers, tanks and anti-aircraft rockets. Uganda also wanted Belarus to help establish a maintenance workshop in Uganda in order to limit the costs on repairing equipment.

he came to Ug with Kamure Titia and Henry Aluha but Kamure sensed some thing was wrong and refused to remain but Henry acepted due to his tribe as Maracha but this man was arrested and poisoned after one year he died followed by Toko in car accident planed by th M7 security agents on Jinja road. you can see how dangerous this man is please keep away from this man. He even gave Ajian a job as ambassader to Congo and Sudan after Toko went home he was removed he is now drinking Kasese on arua streets

Dear editor, I dont know much about Rwanda, though I have visited there many times. I have also heard alot about Ndahiro being brutal to Rwandans. But one thing which I believe is that it is Kagame doing this. As president, Ndahiro is only following orders. Are you guys trying to tell us that it is Ndahiro driving Kagame ? or that Kagame does not know such serious issues rising from Ndahiro.

I have observed, Rwandans are very shy when it comes to criticising their President. They see issues but just decide to keep quiet. You are spoiling Kagame! He will take you for granted at one time and you will not like it.

There is corruption in Rwanda but there are no means of exposing it! All the media is run and controlled by his goons like Ndahiro.The public fears to say anything. The guy is very cunning. A lot has been written about the mysterious deaths in Uganda over the last 20-30 years. Most times the evidence of foul play is hidden away from the eye of the public, but sometimes it is preserved for all to see, in surprisingly revealing ways.

When Francis Ayume died in a car accident on Gulu road, there were conflicting stories about the cause of the accident. We were told that a trailer had collided with his car, but the said trailer was never found. We were also told of a pothole on the road that could have caused the accident, but then the pothole was quickly filled in.

Then something very interesting happened: The accident vehicle was towed to a Ndeeba garage/chop-shop, the day after the accident, for unknown reasons. The best part of the story is that this incident was CAUGHT ON CAMERA! The video is online on YouTube http://youtube.com/watch?v=d1PA_xbDHHs but you have to watch it until the end to see this part of the story. With the benefit of hindsight, this video is quite chilling because it clearly shows that somebody wanted to hide something! Why was the accident vehicle in a garage, even before investigations were over? Don't all such vehicles first go to the Vehicle Inspection?

It was reported that they approached the management of NSSF to borrow 50 billions shillings to build their headquaters. After 23 years in power the Robbers party has just realised that they need a permanent office?

The question many Ugandans are asking themselves; if the whole ruling party has been failing to pay rent for a residential house in Nakaseero where they are located, how can they be able to pay back 50 billion plus interest?

As everyone know, the National Robbers are ready to still anything that can be stollen. It is our duty as Ugandans to fight for our savings in NSSF. If this money is released to them,we shall never get that money back and as you all know them, they will never put up and finish the building.

If they hav failed to finish the Northern by-pass road in kamapala, with all the money they received, how can they finish the 27 storey building.

Do you all remember how they robbed all banks before they took over Govenment. Do you people think they got saved after taking over power. one a thief, always a thief.

Am writing to realy support the position of former state minister for health cpt Mike Mukula. According to is accessment, he said that gov't is more powerfull than the party. if i can give an exmple in support of Mukula's position.

1. America, we had Mrs Clinton and Obama, when mrs clinton failed to get popularity as per party's levels she was forced by her party to stand aside and as she stood down. In general campaigns she went on to back obama and started looking for general win of the party. Is that happening or can it happen in NRM now?? if not, it means the gov't is sronger than the party

2. Clinton himself if possible he would have come back on the card of his party becouse had large popularity even until the end of his 2 terms because he was still strong but his party said you have to go. Look into what is taking place in NRM if vice chairman for eastern region gives out is view that president should not stand for another term then here you see the gov't comes out and start fighting him. even people without any position in the party start saying "ekyo ekifire" meaning any person from another tribe not omunyankole is called ekifire.

3. CHAMA CHAMA PENDUZI of Nyerere is still strong because Nyerere gave it chance to take control of course not the gov't.

4. ANC of south Africe is still strong and on this matter you find some countries a party leader is not the current president though that exact party is one in power.

There is also the so called first family or the people who claim to be so close to the president but we shall see whether always as a wise white said "END ALWAYS JUSTIFIES THE MEANS".
