You Bagisu, eat M7's money but no vote for him!

Museveni's Mbale meeting was a sham yesterday here in Mbale. There were mostly school children and business was just usual. To put it so that you can imagine it, it was like a sub-county meeting of sorts. There were visible signs that people are tired with his lies. Today (6th Aug) he is in Sironko.

You man minister Werikhe going around shouting that Bamasaba have launched Museveni's Fourth Term, please stop making a fool of yourself, Ugandans and Bamasaba are not so esily deceived now.

People will come in thousands but don't think they are confused, they just want some money and to be entertained a bit. Dont think people dont have any common sense, in the ballot box, NRM-0 is ZERO!!!

Bagisu, eat M7's money but no vote for him? What a joke!

Dear RK Readers,

Eat Museveni's money but no votes for him! This is a joke. A big joke you people out there. Who said Museveni needs anybody's vote to be declared winner? In fact I laugh so much it hurts when I hear about election protection, training of people to guard the ballots, importing bicycles for mobilization by the opposition etc.

Who said that Museveni needs your ballots in order to win?

Ugandans if you do not know this, learn it from today. Museveni does not need any of your votes to win in Uganda. His record speaks volumes for this. On December 10th, 1980 you voted. UPC stole the vote. But not Museveni's vote - mind you. UPM only managed to get one seat -- Kiyonga's seat in Kasese. What did Museveni do --- he went to the bush, not to court, not to the streets, to the bush until he got power.

In 1985 he sat through the Nairobi Peace talks. But these talks would give him part-power. He was not willing to play this game by any rules except his own rules. January 1986 he got what he wanted - through the barrel of the gun, not talks, not ballots, but bullets!

He saw the temperature was hot. The DPs were making funny noises about stolen elections. He invited them individually (not as a party) formed a broad-based government with the greedy Ssemogerere, Evaristo Nyanzi, Kyesimira, Abu Mayanja etc. A few days later he locked a few, scattered the rest, flog-matched Omara Atubo and locked up Moses Ali. In 1989 he suspended the funny elections talks until the end of the Constitution making or a programme he would design for you Ugandans. Ugandans we never challenged him to put this to a referendum. So we gave Museveni another seven years (1989-1996)free without a vote.

In 1996 we even stole the vote for him against the hapless Ssemogerere. But even then, Museveni had on election eve already staged a coup-detat on himself. He put on his military uniform, marched a tank or two through Kampala and through our own Katwe. He told everybody to vote wisely or else! The results were as expected. Ssemogerere was defeated and also cheated. Museveni got another five years partly through your ballots but mainly through his uniform and tanks!

In 2001, the Bamasaba in particular, prematurely showed how much they hated Museveni by the support they showed Kizza Besigye. This was after the Basoga had already demonstrated their disgust at having lost their industrial capital of Jinja. Museveni posted his intelligence boys and got his reports. He devised his plans for staying in power. When the Bagisu woke up to vote at 6.00 am they found Museveni had stolen the vote at 3.00 am! The same pattern went throughout Uganda. Museveni actually informed a group of hangers-on that Besigye was very naive to think that "a mere piece of paper" (the ballot) could chase him Museveni out of power. Besigye went to court, but Museveni had already appointed the judges.

IN 2006, there was a repeat action. So my question, what makes the Bamasaba and other Ugandans think that Museveni needs votes to stay in power? What tricks does Besigye, Rukyamuzi, the pathetic DPs or Bidandi Ssali etc have that are going to push Museveni out of power?

You all know the language M7 understands and what he needs but are too tired, cowardly or confused to give it to him. You waste the little resources and energy on buying bicycles and mobilizing the masses. You forget that Ugandans do not need political mobilization any more. They are much more aware than you can imagine. They know Museveni can not improve their lives after 25 years in power.

All they need is leadership to chase Museveni out of town. But since you are not prepared to "bell the cat" go ahead and waste more of our time in organizing for a wedding when your would-be in-law is planning an elopement! You are playing soccer against a man who went to the pitch to play kick-boxing, is the referee and match-judge at the same time. Wama Oworugosi Werikhe you are smart. Mobilise the school children and make funny noises about launching the fourth-term. You will be made the Prime Minister and ensure you will never go back to the Department Physical Planning, ever. After all Nsibambi and the Baganda are no longer important in the political chess-board of Museveni.

Sincerely,

Rutanama na Bigomba

updated 09 Aug 2008

I want to respond to Rutanama na Bigomba because he's statements is incorrect.

First of all if elections did not matter then Museveni would not hold them, so they matter. They matter because then he can say "I was elected". Also he wants that elections are "free and fair" otherwise then he will not be seen as democractic.

But look at the example of Zimbabwe. Can you imagine that today Mugabe is in Cape Town begging for his future! This is almost a miracle! What caused this miracle? Was it "leadership" as Rutanama says? No, no no! Was it because Mugabe doesn't know how to beat voters and bribe voters and steal votes? No way! Mugabe is in fact Museveni's "senior" in this and has been doing it for a long time! What happened was that the people got tired, tired, tired! They beat them, but they kept quiet. They knew what to do, they did it. Ugandans in the villages need to also get tired properly, yet they haven't yet.

Rutanama wants us to have no faith. He wants us to give up. That's why he is laughing at us. Rutanama may be you work for that other man?? Or may be you just don't know you're history?

Lukwago

updated 16 Aug 2008

Dear RK, Permit me to thank Mr. Lukwago for his response to my letter to readers entitled "Bagisu, eat M7's money but no vote for him? What a joke!"

Mr. Lukwago I do not think it is right for anyone of us to lose hope. Certainly not those of us that want to see a new dawn in Uganda's politics and economic direction. The reason I have hope is that the pillars on which President Museveni has been relying to keep his hold on us for a quarter of a century are certainly crumbling. He can no longer deceive Ugandans, he cannot keep his hold on the Movement, he no longer can rely on the army and not even the Presidential Guard Brigade, he cannot rely on the dishing out of districts and gifts to individuals. And with continued exposure his hold on the donors is crumbling.

Within the latter sub-group (the donors) those who keep facilitating him should and actually know that they do not support President Museveni because they have any hopes in him to provide effective leadership. They know that Ugandans know their support is based solely on selfish motives.

So with despondency in the Museveni camp and narrowing options, the only way he can survive is the disorganization of the opposition and engaging them in diversionary tactics including engagements in preparations for elections which you and I, and all Ugandans, know he will steal and claim victory.

And here is my point. Mr. Lukwago the way to manage Museveni is not to continue handing him the sham "electoral victory" over polls he personally organizes, in which the electoral commission is made up of his personal appointees, where his CMI is responsible for the tallying, in which the judges who give a final ruling if you take him to court are largely his cadres! Mr. Lukwago, I am scientific and do place my trust in more than hope. I believe in developing new strategies and mechanisms that will more effectively slice President Museveni's sham hold on power. I REPEAT MUSEVENI HAS STOLEN THE LAST 2 ELECTIONS. WHAT GIVES YOU THE HOPE YOU CAN PREVENT HIM FROM A REPEAT ACTION IN 2011? Are your efforts sufficient to prevent him from being declared winner at the polls or in court?

Finally, you will appreciate that President Mugabe's being forced into negotiations with the opposition is a result of largely economic blockade that has ruined the Zimbabwe economy and led to the fleeing of millions of Zimbabweans. It is not just his recent theft of the vote. Museveni is not chasing out the British from any land in Uganda or taking over British or Indian assets. He is stealing the land and other assets of Ugandans for himself and his criminal gangsters and if we do not galvanize the Baganda, Acholis, Basoga, Banyoro, Bakonjo, Banyankore, Bakiga, Bagisu, Itesot, Batoro, the army, police, teachers, medical workers, farmers etc who are being robbed of their livelihoods, to throw out Museveni by all constitutional and other means that he understands, we are wasting time. And the last time I checked, Mugabe was the President of Zimbabwe!

Sincerely,
Rutanama na Bigomba

SPY CHIEF CHASING LOCAL INVESTORS FROM RWANDA?

The spy chief has been steadily and successfully chasing away local investors from Rwanda using the commissioner general of Rwanda revenue authority Mrs Mary Baine.

After 1994 President Paul Kagame invited business men and women to return home and rebuild their motherland which they did. However those who have been successful are now endangered species.

* Rujugiro has sold the bank and other business interest and is now relocating to Burundi after endless harassment by the spy chief and Mary Baine.

* Egide Gatera is selling Sakirwa petroleum as a result of endless investigation and temporally closures of his business from time to time.

* Old man Mzee Mutangana's battery factory was closed and poor man decided to construct a commercial building in Nyabugogo , now revenue authority is busy investigating the source of his investment. Surely, who doesn't know that the old man had investments in Burundi , Uganda, Kenya and South Africa. At his age, where do you want him to go?.

* Gaposho of stippag had his hotel demolished by the mayor of Kigali and his oil business and Transport were closed by the order of this spy chief. Poor man is now relocating to Burundi.

J* oseph Mugisha of fair construction is also relocating back to Uganda because of regular harassment by the spy chief and Mary Baine.

* Antoine Rwabukamba relocated his businesses from Rwanda after his businesses were closed down by the same man and woman.

* Leonard Kananira also closed his transport and oil business after undergoing vigorous interrogation by RRA and he was forced to close down.

* Mrs Muhirwa , when she completed her building in Kakiru, she was subjected to temporary closure of her businesses and she is also planning to relocate to Tanzania.

There are so many small and medium businesses that have closed down and relocated to other countries like Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania , Congo and Burundi. They had no body to appeal to because the judges are threatened by the spy chief that the orders are "from above" (the President).

Mr President, is Rwanda going to be developed by foreign investors, Tristar and Hatari Sekoko only? Can all prominent business men and women be wrong? Surely, we should not let these two people continue to undermine the development of your vision. You brought peace and security to this country but the business community needs to be liberated from this terror

"Oil wealth for all" is air supply

Dear RK,

Sometimes I wonder whether all Ugandan don't reason? How can they believe that President Museveni will use the money from the oil to better the lives of Ugandans?

If he was planning to use the Oil for all Ugandans, why did he and his fellow Robbers in cabinet make agreements with the oil campanies and they refuse the people's representatives(MPs) to look at the agreements. Are the oil agreements classified documents?

How can Ugandans believe that a group made up of Amama Mabazi, Museveni and other Robbers can allow all Ugandans to enjoy the oil money?

If a Government can steal donated money for the AIDS patients and use it for their personal gains how can they allow Ugandans to share the oil money? Either I am the one who has a problem or All Ugandans who believe what Museven and his fellow Robbers tell them have a problem.

CK Jinja.

M7 in death threat to Kabale voters

Dear RK,
The last time President Museveni had a stop over in Rubanda West Constituency in Kabale District, he told the Bakiga that they have never seen deady bodies and if they don't support him, they will see them.

He has started threatening the Bakiga because they support a Member of Paliament regarded as a rebel MP Hon Banyenzaki who stands for his people other than the party and he is planning to get a Movement sycophant to replace him.

If anything happens in that constituency eg a Goverment set up insurgency, you should all know who has organised it in order to show the Bakiga Dead bodies. This is a warning to all Bakiga in and outside Uganda.

Ugandans, learn media warfare tactics

Dear Editor,

On Monday 4.08.08 Mzee Ayub presented his show 'Dialogue' on BEN television on SKY TV on chanel 194 AT 10.00am. I happened to watch this show but I was amazed how one sided the show is. His guest was Lwetute of Uganda Human rights and the topic was about the arrest of the three Mengo officials. However Mzee gave Mr Lwetute a hard time and would not let him answer the questions. Every time Mr Lwetute was nearing to hammer a point he would interrupt him and distort his argument. To make it worse for the poor Lwetute, Ayoub invited Museveni's crony and apologist Ruhakana Rugunda on the phone from Uganda and together they ambushed the human rights man. He was not even given a chance to counter the Internal Affairs minister's arguments.

Someone called Mustapha Semanda with a British accent called the show and tried to rescue the situation by arguing against the arrests, as well as clarifying some of the points Mr Lwetute was making for example the return of Buganda's 9000sq miles of land and its properties plus stressing that the kabaka should not meet Museveni over any political issues because his apolitical. But when Mzee saw that Mustapha was very assertive and well spoken, they distorted the telephone line and after claimed that 'we have lost the caller'. Mr Mustapha Semanda kept saying could you please turn up the volume on the phone and Mzee was not replying. We watched his body language and as soon as Mzee heard from Mustapha he became timid and less confident till they cancelled Mustapha's call. Please advise our politicians to get media training and be more argumentative when on Tele. Because I could see Lwetute had good points but they bullied him till Mustapha stepped in. The next battle for all peace loving Ugandans is to lobby, demostrate and destroy Museveni's image in the west. Hence media training for all opposition politicians should be a priority.

Thank you very much for the hard work your are doing for us and we really appreciate

Regards

We are Sorry

FORMAL APOLOGY TO NORTHERN UGANDANS FROM BUGANDA

Greetings radiokatwe, and all the people of northern Uganda. I wish to offer today my most sincere apologies on behalf of baganda fighters of NRM, UFM , FEDEMU for what we did in the late 80s and early 90s in the areas of Gulu, Kitgum, Teso and the entire Northern Region which was despicable and evil. I condoned and participated in the genocide of those people . We were in bed at the time with the current NRM leadership and full of hatred for what we felt had been done in Buganda, and at the time we werent aware of M7's expert use of sectarianism to make political gains. Only now, many years later and a born again Christian preacher do I understand the full extent of the evil we allowed to let loose.

Even in the rest of Uganda, there is no figure officially or unofficially of how many "anyanya" were bayoneted or burnt with tyres and tortured to with "Kandoya". It was a secretive genocide on massive scale and I hope you will forgive us. We were young and stupid, and only now after seeing M7's banyala, banyoro and bakooki projects and all the other evil divisive tribalist tricks are we becoming full aware of how deceived we were.

Fellow Ugandans of the north we need to forgive each other, and only then can the devil lose authority of the situation. If there is anybody out there from the North and who reads this, please respond showing you have accepted my apology and then the intercession can begin in earnest. I also invite the rest of the Ugandan born again community to intercede for the country before it is too late, In case you havent noticed the, the country seems to be sliding back into the abyss.

Apostle OKN, COORDINATOR SAVE UGANDA PRAYER CHAIN

updated 07 Aug 2008

Pastor OKN,
Thanks for your kind words after reformation from your previous behaviours in the North.

However, the forgiveness you are seeking should not be in secrecy like this. The word says put your lamp on the table so that it can shine but not under the table.

Ofcourse genuine reconciliation is the only way foward but it should be done in a proper manner especially in the absence of this monster called Museveni.

Be assured that I have forgiven you for the havoc you have caused as you confessed. You can also be instrumental in future to tell us more of what actually happened.

Live in peace.

OO Bed mot

updated 07 Aug 2008

RK Editors,

I wish to begin by thanking Apostle OKN, for coming out and apologise on behalf of Baganda, over the atrocities committed in Northern and Eastern Uganda. Unless Ugandans start thinking for themselves instead of blind faith in selfish politicians' words as gospel truth; what OKN participated in will happen again. It is already brewing, and one can point where the fury is being directed.

I also want to add that Museveni's unforgivable crime was and still is, was to use children (Kadogos) to kill, which destroyed their souls. I am sure many also got killed in the frontline and the man (M7) displayed their skulls on Luwero roadsides to demonise Obote and Lutwa.

The NRA defeated the UNLA soldiers not because they were better fighters, but it was because the UNLA soldiers were shocked to be confronted by children. How do you shoot 10-12-year old boys and girls, who are your children's age back at home? It was the horror of killing children that psychologically disabled and disarmed most of the UNLA soldiers.

How would anybody like his or her 12-year old child's life snuffed off with a bullet? Has anybody ever seen the face of an innocent child shot in the face? But that was what Museveni was doing with the lives of other people's children. These were probably the children of parents he and Otafiire in UPC T-shirts killed, to make a case against Obote to inflame Baganda.

Ugandans must know where Museveni is coming from: a Maoist. The Americans lost the Vietnam war in 1975, not because they were cowards. It was the horror of facing innocent children driven into the frontline by the Pol Pot Maoist guerillas. They were set up in villages to hurl grenades at the Marines. In response the American soldiers were forced to mow down children in self-defence; which was psychologically devastating. If you can't trust a child then the world of innocense has ended.

President M7 has made everybody who worked with him, even children guilty. It is revolting. I have met a number of Kadogos who are now adults. Some have attained even Masters degrees on human rights, but they are a sad story. They are permanently depressed souls, because their dark past can't leave them alone and it is written allover their faces.

Has reader closely observed M7 face these days? He face looks grotesque. Evil wipes away beauty from a person's face.

Finally, it is very dissappointing, there is a deliberate news blackout on the controversial last NRM caucus meeting over the Mengo officials' arrest. At that meeting, rebel NRM MPs especially Hon Okot Ogong and Hon Kananabi clearly spoke their mind and didn't minced words. But the print media especially the independent Daily Monitor which we rely on didn't do a thing. Weeky Observer also reported nothing in its 7th Aug 2008 issue.

Radio One in its five o'clock news gave a sound bite of the duo as we drove home; but blacked out during the seven and eight o'clock news. KFM also did report although it briefly featured on the Seven o'clock Hot Seat talk show.

In the Radio One sound bite, Hon Okot Ogong said what even the devil was afraid to say: that Kony has fought M7 for 20 years, but they NRM rebel-MPs will go the mile and fight him (M7) for 50 years. Ogong even insinuated that M7 is a terrorist, terrorising MPs to back off from opposing the land bill.

Our media houses, where are you on this one? give us the correct verson! We know to tell the truth is tantamount to sedition and telling lies is a virtue and patriotism. But he loses his life will save it but he saves his life will lose it!

It was the media blackout that allowed Gen Tinyefunza to commit crime against humanity in Northern and North Eastern Uganda from mid 1990 to 2003.

Buganda Apology accepted.

On behalf of Acholi, those present and those no longer with us due to the terrible events of horror perpetuated by the Government of Museveni in North and Eastern Uganda. Carefully planned Genocide which is supported by British Government (Baroness Chalker) and United States of America, the Buganda people cannot be held accountable.

Ugandans are close knit communities, therefore with consultations with key Acholi leaders, we accept this request for apology, the Government of Buganda Kingdom and its people we say in a loud and clear voice, "we are one. Let their be no mistake, an attack on Buganda kingdom means an attack on Acholi". we are one today.

Thanks you

When deputy High Commissioner Mumtaz Kassam sweated

Ugandans, watch out for Museveni's Puppets in the UK (the so called NRM-UK CHAPTER and some of the Mission Staff), these people have been tasked several crime-related missions by the Ugandan dictator. The way the deputy High Commissioner [Mumtaz] was sweating in the corridors of Southwark Crown on the day Tumukunde was brought to court, clearly answers us who observed her on this day. The woman was restless, one would think that she was herself detained or had a very close friend in jail.

She put all her efforts in order to secure bail for the "Deadly Ananania", thanks God the Judge declined to grant bail. This would have been one of the biggest mistakes made by court to release one of the deadliest Ugandans of this era. We need to wake up and defend our Nation Uganda; these guys are not only dealing in drugs, trafficking-people or spying for the NRM government in the Home Office, and killing innocent people, there is a lot more than that. People open your eyes we need to resist this kind of behaviour, long live RK and Blackstar News.

Tactics against Kony failed, try new ones

Dear Sir

I found President Museveni's comments the other day very interesting.

He threatened to fight rebel NRM MPs like he fought Kony. Now we Ugandans know how long and how effective his fight against Kony has been. And now that he promises to fight the MPs with the same vigour is very very funny.

I believe Museveni should try an effective form of governance where the MPs are left to act independent and in the interest of the constituents not the 'king'.

Thank you

M7 more guilty than Bashir

How can M7 talk of Bashir, what about the killings in Congo and the ten billion he is to pay, why? He has killed more than Bashir, He killed Baganda in Luwero, Acholis, Iteso, Rwandese and individuals in Uganda in general, who can listen from a killer like him anyway? let him just wait his time to come soon

What were they thinking?

Dear RK,

Do our Leaders have shallow thinking or they thinks all Ugandas Have shallow thinking?

Am asking because of the statements that have been made by Government leaders eg:

"The Black Mambas invaded the High Court because the was a plan by some poeple to come and rescue the suspects from the court premises using a helicopter"
Do you people think someone who justifies invading the court by giving this reason has a normal brain, well knowing the technicalities of such a rescue mission?

"I am very happy with the Police and the way they handled the arrest of the 3 Buganda Officials and I am happy that they followed the law."
This was uttered by non other than Ruhakana Rugunda. Do you people believe Rugunda's brain is still ok or he needs professional help?

When Africans acquire unexpected wealth and power, they create their virtual world and believe it is the real world. This is the world our leaders are leaving in and it is hard for them to see the real world until they are made to leave power.

By the way, all these powerful people in leadsership today, including those most highest paid ladies and gentlemen, grew up in needy families with mud and wattle houses, no shoes, some of them shared same house with cattle calves, eg those from Nyabushozi while others shared same rooms with sheep eg those from Kisoro. This is their heaven and they would rather die than live the heaven they have tasted. However much wealth they aquire, they cannot believe that the poverty the grew up in will not come back.

BR, Kabale.

WMD is '50 Year Master Plan' being operationalized

Dear RK and readers,

The word "THANK YOU" will never be enough for Radio Katwe unless proven otherwise. For doubting Thomases, the revelation about the importation of Weapon of Mass Destruction (WMD) has its background in the 50-year Basiita strategic plan- meeting held on 15th March 1992 (RK updated: 12th Dec 2007), Death was suggested for the potential leaders who would attempt to fail the master plan. For those who might have missed out on this deadly strategy, the following is an extract to refreshen our poor memory:

"The meeting started with a prayer led by Rt. Rev. Bishop Ruhindi at exactly 11.00p.m. who prayed for good deliberations.

Minute 2:00 The Chairman, H.E. welcomed the Basita Clan and other clans present in his home. He briefed members present the purpose of the meeting and thanked organizers for a good job done. He told members that the only opportunity they have is this one when he is still President. He directed Hope Kivengyere to act as a link between his office and these people at grass roots. He told them that they were few in number and that he fought to liberate them so that they could be heard in society and Uganda at large. He reminded them of the need to have a master plan for at least fifty years if the Hima clan is to remain vibrant and rich. H.E. told his listeners that if they cannot use the opportunity maximally, their daughters and sons would blame them in future. At this function he revealed to them a scheme and plan of action in order for them to achieve their desired goals as: 1.To have the highest education qualifications during his term of office for their children. 2.To make sure they are the richest people in Uganda with the 50 years master plan. 3.To make sure they control the army and have the highest ranks in the army. 4.To ensure that they take charge of all the resources in the country 5.To ensure none of those not concerned, not to know about the action plan.

Every one of them was directed to recruit the Bahima boys to join the army so that they could dominate the ISO, PPU, ESO and Military Police as this would assist in the resisting of other tribes that would attempt to take power by the use of force. Minute 3.00: The chairman informed the members to unite so that they could remain the only kings in the region. He said that the master plan couldn't be achieved unless 80% of their youths are properly trained and equipped with the best necessities to maintain these issues.

At this juncture the chairman directed Mr. Elly Karuhanga to take charge of educating the sons and daughters and send them abroad in countries such as India, England, America and South Africa. Karuhanga accepted the responsibility without hesitation. The chairman also directed Mr. Kirimani to take charge of educating the daughters and sons internally, especially to ensure that he put up special school in Nyabushozi to cater for the interests of the group, On this note Mr. Kutesa suggested to upgrade Bunyanyeru Resettlement School from Nursery upto Secondary, which was passed with no arguments.

Minute 4:00 Mr. Elly Rwakakoko interjected the chairman's speech by giving directions to members on the real discussion by introducing a new chapter of how H.E. could be succeeded after his term of office. On this point Mrs. Jovia Salim Saleh begged the members to ensure that after H.E. the next president must come from the Basita clan. She said that she had done a lot for the Basita and taken a lot of risks for the last 20 years and therefore it was important that the Basita take charge of the resources of the country. The members resolved that she was not in order.

Minute 5.00: Mzee Ephrann Rusimira suggested that the new president should be the brother to the president if the master plan is to succeed. He warned that if the Bairu and non Bahima clans got to know about the action plan, it would fail to take off.

Minute 6.00: Mzee Rutamwebwa suggested that Salim Saleh should go back to school if the objectives of the action are to be achieved. He suggested that Salim Saleh had to get "0" Level Certificate and "A" Level Certificate. This was unanimously agreed to. He also suggested that someone close, possibly the son of H.E. should be groomed to take over the reigns from Salim Saleh. This too was agreed on and the group begged H.E. to look around for a boy who would be groomed. The group also brainstormed about how to destroy those who would gang up to take power from the clan.

Death was suggested for the potential leaders who would attempt to fail the master plan. Mmute 7.00: The way Forward:

a) Deny other people access to economic resources through:i. Overtaxing individuals and companies, which don't belong to our people and protect those of our people.ii. Destroying co-operative societies and unions.iii. Selling Parastatals and public enterprises that others don't gain from them.iv. Commercialize education and health services.

b) Our people to be employed in lucrative public offices from which they should reap maximally while being protected from prosecution.

c) Destruction of the economic, military and political will of Northern and Eastern Uganda.

d) Immediate return of non-political Kabaka of Buganda while we promote disunity among the Buganda.

e) Uniting all Bahima in the Great Lakes Region and awakening their political, military and economic process.

f) Participating in the exploitation of economic resources of rich neighboring states.

g) Making strategic alliances with whatever power in the world that will enhance achievement of this plan".

Now readers, strategy g); "Making strategic alliances with whatever power in the world that will enhance achievement of this plan" is now being operationalized.

Note: The recent promotion of the UPD officials and the police is a bribe for 2011. At the last massive police pass-out (4,000) at Kololo (31st July 2008), 60 of them (probational officers) were soldiers who will be deployed as District Police Commanders (DPC); which will make it over 80% of the current DPC.

If you are a DPC who is not in good book with this killer regime, your job is for grab in order the safegaurd the Basiita strategic plan. It is high time you looked for another job. Go and raise ducks or goats like they told Dr. Semogerere, and keep your peace of mind. Otherwise prepare yourselves to do the dehumanizing dirty bidding and job.

A police state is already here with us. Concerned Ugandans must begin to prepare themselves psychologically to go to jail and even die there. You haven't seen nothing yet!

Concerned Citizen

Update : Late Bishop Ruhindi was not a Muhima/Musiita

Thanks Editor RK for the useful information you keep giving to your readers including myself. I have two points to make for the benefit of my fellow readers and for Democratic Party in Uganda.

1. I have to correct an impression highlighted in the quoted extract of a meeting of the so called Basiita that took place in 1992. Late Bishop Eustace Ruhindi whom I knew very well and attended this meeting was not a Misiita neither was he he a Muhima many of whom attended the meeting. His connection with this Basiita could have been because of his wife who happens to be a Muhima. Knowing who Ruhindi was from late fifties, I could not believe that he could have attended such a meeting. So stand corrected and late him rest in peace.

2. I have been following closely what is befalling our country through bad leadership under the present government and given the fact that most of the resolutions passed in Basiita meeting of 1992 have been or are slowly but systematically being fulfilled, Uganda has only one more opportunity to be saved through cooperaton by all political parties.

To this end let m as one of the concerned citizens appeal to the leadership of Domocratic Party to come out boldly and join other parties so that they can work together to remove Uganda's enemy No 1, NRM and its leadership and the rest will be sorted out later.

I salute FDC,UPC, CONSERVATIVE NAD JEMA for coming out and join hands for the benefit their future motherland, Uganda. DP do not waste any more time , join you colleagues now and wait for our support.

Concerned Senior citizen.

Update 07 Aug 2008

One reader commented about recent promotions in police though briefly. You will realise that officers who have excelled in harrasing wanainchi like Ochom Bangirana and Agero who pulled a gun at Sebaana were beneficiaries of this promotion. then you see very junior officers being promoted to higher ranks because they hold party cards yet politics is forbidden for civil/public servants. The others are just for window dressing.

Cry for our beloved Uganda Police because kayihura has killed it in earnest.

Museveni govt and dirty money go back a long way

Dear RK,

It is a known fact that the Museveni government has huge deals related to drug trafficking, and business deals in minerals including those for uranium enrichment. Another aide to Salim Saleh an Indian calld Rajiv, who was a partner to Rose Birungi, was arrested in USA for trafficking drugs and is languishing in one of the jails. It is amazing how Museveni is doing all these bad things but not one of the western governments is raising a finger. I hope one day justice will take place.

Let MPs do their work without interference

Dear RK,
allow me space to make this observation.

M7 has called NRM members of Parliament to brief them about the recent discussions he had with the Katikiro and his delegation. He goes on to order them to pass the Land Bill as a matter of urgency!!! This is dictatorship at the very highest level.

Parliament is supposed to debate the Land bill and not simply be ordered by M7 to pass the bill!!! how arrogant!!! may be many "brown envelopes" have been handed arround by his Private Secretary to ensure these stooges abide by this directive.

May I also applaud Mikhail about UNLEASHING SILENCE as this indeed will hurt the ego of M7 and all his puppets. we can go even further by BOYCOTTING all their businesses in whatever guise they come be it churches. they can break our bones but not our spirit.

UNITED WE STAND.

Let M7 carry on like this and am sure he very well knows and fully aware that the ICC is close on his trail

Mbarara attrocities in 1979

Please advise readers that ICC cannot investigate or try a crime committed before 2002 when the Rome Statute was promulgated

Radio Katwe will soon publish a detailed account from eye witnesses, of this incident in which Muslims were massacred by their fellow citizens in Itendero and Kabwohe towns. The ICC is not able to, but the search for justice will continue. -Editor

Begin Voter Education in earnest

Dear RK,
Now that it is 100% clear that Museveni wants to come back in 2011, I think all Ugandans have only themselves to blame if they can't put a stop to this madness in the three years left!

Prof. Michael Madill, writing in Daily Monitor (Federo may scatter corruption to the districts), makes an excellent point when he argues that Uganda will not stabilise until ordinary Ugandans become masters of the government not the servants they are now. This means we must take back this country from the mad men who are holding it captive.

I have been thinking about ways that this can be done, and I'll try to share my ideas as they come. I will also stick to 'simple' ideas only.

The first is this, and this goes to all the political organisations: We all know that one of the biggest problems in Ugandan elections is that the vote in the countryside is either bought or stolen. I think we have time to prevent this happening come 2011. If Nambooze and friends can be so effective at preaching against the land bill in the countryside in such a short time, so much so that M7 is driven to such a rage as to have her arrested, then surely a similar drive can be made to:

- Teach the peasant that every vote he/she sells for a bar of soap, means that there will be no medicine at the health centre, since that would have been the proper price of the vote.

- Teach the peasant that each vote must count. This means, that the votes must be guarded like gold, right from the time of voting to the district. Any attempt to tamper must be met with strong resistance. Peasants must be made to understand the link between stolen votes and poor facilitation of schools. They must learn that when they let the vote be stolen, the 'elected' will not owe them, and so will not have to buy books for their children.

My earnest appeal to Ugandans is that we stop crying and complaining, and shaking our heads. The writing is on the wall. If you can't see that the 4th term drive is already in high gear, then please laugh me out of the forum! Otherwise, pay attention, and lets put our heads together and find ways to stop this madness!

'Li Li-san'

Honorables, you are impossible to reach!

NO WAY THROUGH TO HON: KADAGAS RESDENCE AND MINISTER ISAC MUSUMBA'S HOME.

It is too suprising and very dissapointing that from Mrs Kadaga residence in Mbulamuti there is just no clear road that joins her with minister Isaac Musumba. Just because the sub- county that joins them was cut off because the NAMAGGANDA (KISOZI) BUZAAYA ROAD WAS ignored to be maintained. So from Mrs Kadaga to Musumba's home one has to go all the way back to Kamuli town, then Jinja and back to Kisozi, a distance of almost 400km instead of just 20 km if that road was maintained.

Mrs. Betty Ochan Bigombe not always welcome

Dear RK and Readers,
One other individual Ugandans, especially Acholis should be careful of is Mrs. Betty Ochan Bigombe. This woman is probably in one of Museveni's pocket. She is going around talking to the Acholis and the world at large about the NRM gov't. Mrs. Bigombe is not a respected spokeperson for all the Acholis and no one should give her even her/his precious moment of the day to listen to her propaganda about Museveni and his government. She may be respected by other Ugandans but certainly not all the Acholi. The way Museveni has killed the us (Acholi), surely she and Onen Kamdullu are in cohoots with Museveni against the Acholis. Mrs. Bigombe is being used so much by Museveni and she must be one of those who know about the chemicals being used on the Acholis and all over Uganda.

Mrs. Bigombe please, we don't respect your views and for that matter, anything you say in defence of the NRM regime. Almighty God take care of this confused sister of ours and keep her away from us in your name I pray....AMEN.

To the writer who sent this (above letter) to radio katwe, I can feel with you and I have to say you are right. As a matter of fact there are many "hypoctites" in all tribes. Sorry am coming out with a tribe thing but this is to show you that we all are caught up in this dilemma.

I am a muganda by tribe and I can give you a list of those who dine and wine with the man with a master plan to kill all, save for his own. I keep asking my self, is this the making of Kyakwanzi to have people like Hajati Mukwaya, Prof. Gilbert Bukenya, Prof. Apolo Nsibambi brainwashed and fail to use their inner portions to think. These are guys with some education to speak of (Well not Mukwaya at least). I would expect these guys to do some reasoning to see how they are being used. I know one thing they are eating so much that with time they might pupanty. We all have followed M7 and his ways of using people.

Mukwaya you have been in this for longer than any Muganda minister so simple logic is that you are equivalent to Bigombe. Those who show some opposition either go or are killed. You are still there so you might be one of those selling Buganda and leaking Buganda information to the "dictator" as we read. Well today you have hit a "lick" but tomorrow is pay day, your Kyagwe and Entebbe properties will pay for today. We have so much respect for Nambooze than you will ever get from any reasonable Muganda in 100 life times.

May I tell you this guys who consort with the enemy of all Ugandans, you do it to Buganda you do it to yourselves. Better watch out.

To the writer of the article Mrs. Betty Ochan Bigombe not always welcome: Naah Neither, are the above mentioned welcome.

Land Bill Shields Past Wrongs

Museveni should stop the Land Bill now, let him first pay the people who lost their land in sembabule. All the farms in Sembabule are mostly owned by high government officials and their relatives too. Did he stop Juma Seiko in Mukono? How did NRM pay for all this land they own?

Kasirye Ggwanga you should also apologies to buganda king, you are married to John Mary Masembe's (son of former chief in Muttesa 2) daughter who owns miles and miles of land in Mubende district because that land was a thank you from the buganda king before Mutebi

Clarification on the late Gen. Kombe

"In January 1996, Gen. Kombe the Tanzanian Military Intelligence chief was shot dead mysteriously at a fake road block." I read this from one of your articles. Iam not sure if you were trying to connect his death with RPF. But Kombe's death has nothing to do with him knowing the plot to assasinate Habiryamana. Kombe was a director of a department known as TISS (Intelligence) under State House which is different from military intelligence. His death had something to do with association with an opposition leader who was former TISS agent at that time.

Anyone can be a Muhima

About Bahororo and bahima its clear that who ever could start with one or few cows and multply them up to more than 100 in number while not buying them, then (ajweka omurebe) something like a cow bell and therefore is qualified to be omuhima (cattlekeeper).

thanks yrs N.K.
N.B Those who are calling themselves bahima as a tribe, its not true. They are using a word which is reported speach like in Ruhororo we say tatento when the other one tells that ogwe nishweto you can not say nishweto.
