Congs Mr President, Mulago now ready for sale to "investors"
Dear Mr President, Yoweri Tibuhaburwa,
After intentionally neglecting the only national referal institution of Mulago Hospital for a long time as you usually do before you sell off any Government property, I am happy to inform you that the Hospital has reached the level you want and is ripe for sale.
For your information, even patients who try to use the private wing of the hospital hoping to get better services, they pay and then wait for doctors who appear at 11:00 am, rush through the patients like robots and then leave for the famous private hospitals in Kampala by noon.
The patients who pay for more complicated investigations like ECG/echo cardiographs or CT scan, after paying the official fee which is 6,000 and 120,000 respectively; they have to again pay to the concerned nurse or doctor in order to be attended to.
Remember Mr President, you are responsible for all this mess brought about by corruption which you personally flagged off when your brother got a bribe on the junk helicopters and you let him get away; when Sudhir Ruparelia, was arrested with a brief case full of dollars hidden in a false bottom at Entebbe Airport and you instead of prosecuting him, made him your business partner
Back to Mulago Hospital, there are no drugs, the Operating theatre works occasionally on people who are able to pay directly to the doctor on duty, the drugs pass there as a transit point on their way to private Hospitals.
As you can see Mr President, the Hospital is ripe and ready for sale to your "investors"; you could possibly turn it into a 5 star hotel since you hope to manage hotels when you retire.
Alternatively, you may turn it into a shopping mall and may be rename it NANA Shopping Center.
The ball is in your court Mr Tibuhaburwa.
Concerned Ugandan.

Investors beware, land belongs to the people
Dear Editor,
"Museveni promises investors free land" is one of the headlines in New Vision daily of Wednesday, 10th December, 2008. Some time ago, I also read that free land had been given to Egyptians.
The arrogance of dictator Museveni and his group of criminals is making me boil with anger. Ugandan land is the property of the citizens of Uganda. No foreigner should ever be allowed to own a square inch of land within the boundaries of present Uganda. However, a foreigner may lease land for a period not exceeding 49 years. After the lease period, the land reverts to the state or citizen.
A person who does not respect the constitution and does not understand the meaning of the last stanza in our national anthem should not be allowed to be president of mother Uganda. Refugees and their children abused our hospitality when they joined bandit Museveni in Luwero, and we know them.
Museveni has destroyed all institutions that form a civilized country!! How could Museveni allow foreigners to take over our only gold, coffee? Cooperatives were destroyed! Health and education were privatised, condemning our children to ignorance and diseases that so called swine leaders worked very hard to eradicate. The greatest swine must be in power!
To all those who are being fooled by Museveni that there is free land in Uganda, take heed. "THE LAND THAT FEEDS US", Ugandan land belongs to families, clans and tribes (nations) that form present Uganda. The land issues are discussed and decided by the elected parliament, representing the owners mentioned above.
This is to announce to all "TRUE UGANDANS" that a group of women and men have decided to form "TRUE UGANDAN CONGRESS" to free our mother Uganda from abuse and rape by foreigners. Readers should look out for aims and objectives of True Ugandan Congress soon in coming issues of RK.
If need be, "TRUE UGANDAN FORCES" are now ready to rid Uganda of criminals masquerading as liberators. Twenty two years are more than enough. We can not continue to be fooled by people of dubious origins.
"FOR OUR OWN DEAR LAND"

What is going on MP Godi?
Dear RK,
Is Hon Godi MP Arua Municipality falling into the footsteps of the late Hon Zubairi Atamvaku CA Delegate Arua Municipality, who was a very strong critic of NRM and Museveni Government? Both are opposition, and moslems by faith and victims of Arua politics which does not nuture nor develop leaders like other areas of the country.
Unfortunately the people of Arua do not understand that even if you are a supporter of NRM from Arua, the number of votes cast from Arua for Museveni is so negligable that he does not care so you are a liability and can be dumped, jailed or killed anytime. Sorry folks it will take Arua a very, very long time to understand that Museveni can actually kill an NRM to divide and rule. Where is Toko, Ayume and others for you even to argue about your support for Museveni or NRM?
My very sincere condolence to the Waiga family on the loss of their daughter and pole saana MP Godi. I hope Arua can see beyond their differences and concerntrate on what is coming from your boarders.
Dear RK,
Thanks again to give me the space to share my views. The troubles of Arua MP Mr.Godi is the work of security super minister Karya Sausage John Mbabazi's boys. Remember, during the parliament investigations, Mr. Mbabazi was angered by the way Mr. Godi questioned the old man. Now it is pay back time. And that is how dirty our leaders, the so called revolutionaries can be. This will happen again and again. Look at those other MP's who were againist Mbabazi.
Binsangawano
Dear editor
I just want to say some few words about the sad story regarding the death of Rehema the wife of Godi may her saul rest in peace. We in UNRF2 are very sad to see such incident to happen infact this is a good news to M7 this man must be now celebrating the arrest of Godi. Such killing is not a new thing this man had tried to excute the Bishop of Arua (Drandua) but the altar boy who was supposed to pull the trigger turned the gun over to the Bishop including the cash. He narated all the story but this boy was arrested taken to Butabika injected with medicine of mad people upto now this boy is useless. He has lost his memory.
Going back to UNRF we the real UNRF have not accepted the deal done by Bamuze at all. We are still active and we shall never accept any thing other than removing this dictator. We have remained out of the country until our goal is archieved. Whatever deal done between him with Captain Bamuze does not appeal to us. We have the high command which must have ordered such deal but to our suprise Bamuze went a head to sign a deal without our consent. The result is this Kangaroo joke, for those who were in the UA they know about Seruwagi who was the boss of Bamuze the head of millitary sports this Bamuze has never been a top officer.
We in the diaspora have condem this arrest of this young man in a strongest way we demand his release immediately. If there is to be a peace in this country it will be the end of NRM. We have been silent but this time we shall use our own ways to see this is implemented. Our people have been killed including Kayira but no one has been arrested so you can see the double standard in this county.
I beg to stop here more will come soon
Yours Aluma

RWB urges Kibaki to kill draconian media law
12 December 2008, KENYA
President Kibaki urged not to sign draconian media bill into law
Reporters Without Borders has written to Kenyan President Mwai Kibaki urging him to not to sign the Kenya Communications (Amendment) Bill 2008 into law. Otherwise known as the ICT Bill, it was adopted by parliament on 10 December.
This is the text of the letter:
HE Mwai Kibaki
President of the Republic
Nairobi - Kenya
Paris, 11 December 2008
Dear Mr. President
Reporters Without Borders, an organisation that defends press freedom worldwide, would like to share with you its concern about parliament's adoption yesterday of the Kenya Communications (Amendment) Bill 2008, otherwise known as the ICT Bill.
As you are aware, this particularly draconian bill has sparked an outcry among Kenyan journalists and in the international community. If it is signed into law, it would, in our view, represent a big step backwards for press freedom in a country known for its diverse, outspoken and professional news media. Kenya would lose its status as a model country as regards the protection of freedoms. It would set a negative example which the predators of press freedom in Africa would undoubtedly exploit.
The ICT Bill violates all democratic standards by providing for heavy fines and prison sentences for press offences. It also envisages the creation of a government-appointed "communications commission" that would be in charge of granting broadcast licences.
Article 86 of the bill gives the information minister the power to interrupt broadcasts, dismantle radio and TV stations and tap telephones, while the internal security minister, for his part, is empowered to seize broadcasting equipment without referring to any other authority.
Such police powers should not, in a democracy, be placed in the hands of politicians. It would represent a complete denial of the principle of the separation of powers and would give a formidable weapon to the enemies of the rule of law.
Furthermore, we are astonished that the bill would even give the information minister power to control programme content, as the commission he appoints would also be responsible for ensuring the "good taste" of broadcasts. It is not the job of any government minister to pass judgment on the quality of news and information, especially as the concept of "good taste" has no legal value.
We therefore call on you not to sign this bill into law. Your refusal to ratify this bill would send a very strong signal. It would demonstrate your respect for the Kenyan press and for the independent regulatory bodies, which we moreover urge you to strengthen.
We hope you will give this request your careful consideration.
Respectfully,
Jean-François Julliard
Secretary-General

Returned Tumukunde bribes was diplomatic slap
RK and Readers,
I wish Museveni knew how much, more and more Ugandans and the international community loath him, the longer he clings to power. I have observed this by the number people who turn off or switch the channel of their TV or radios, whenever Museveni addresses any forum.
The longer he hungs on the more humiliating it becomes to be a Ugandan under the leadership of Museveni. For example the return of stolen Shs. 117 million by the UK government through the High Commissioner in Kampala is a diplomatic slap (shit) in Museveni's face (UK returns arms bribe to UgandaDM 10th Dec 2008).
The Englishmen are the masters of diplomacy and cynicism. The cynicism in this scenario is in the 6x4 dummy check (cheque) handed to the IGG, Faith Mwonda for the press (world) to see: That the president of Uganda is a crook who deploys crooks for advisors; therefore he can't be trusted.
In other words ex-convict Tumukunde was arrested while running Museveni's errand. The Queen's government through the High Commission had to tell the world in coded language what has all along been, and is happening in the State House of the Republic of Uganda with the full knowledge of the President (money laundering). Otherwise Tumukunde wouldn't have been released on the basis of "good conduct": criminals are criminals, and for that matter money launders like drug traffickers, never have good conduct.
How can a president of a country have crooks for advisors without him being a crook? The one million dollar question is who makes the background checks and vets the 101 presidential advisors? If a presidential advisor on science and technology can be compromised to a level of getting kickbacks and other sidekicks when procuring, what security do we have in this country except that of the president?
Humiliated

One sniper could solve Uganda's problem
Hi All at RK
I like the exposure of facts being written about the bad things your President Museveni has done to the country and the people as a whole. But it appears to me that this man will never be moved by those words alone. The best thing to do is to speak the language he understands ie FIRE.
I am sure there are Ugandans who can use snipers, and it only take one sniper to resolve the Ugandan problem. There after democratic Ugandans can rule the country BUT what Ugandans should understand is that they should NEVER make if tribalistic like before (now). Am aware that you Ugandans love yourselves but Museveni divided you people. This time be One Uganda One People.
Good Luck

Is M7 making allies in Obama administration?
Dear RK Editors,
I would like you to do some investigations about this; I recently heard that Museveni and his wife were hosted in New York City by Ms. Samantha Power's mother in her residence a while back. Dr. Martin Aliker supposedly was the one who introduced Museveni to the Power's family.
Now, we know that Ms. Powers is Obama's choice for the troubled Great Lakes area.
So can someone like Captain Vincent help us with this? I feel that we should get to the bottom of this before Jan.20th,'09.
Should this be true, Ugandans, Congolese, and anybody who is affected by the troubles in this area should protest the appointment of Ms. Samantha.
If there is any Hutu, Titsi, Congolese, Tanzanian, Sudanese, Kenyan,
and anybody anywhere in Africa who is affected, please join us Ugandans in this struggle. Thank you RK and readers.

Attempted rebellion in Masindi
RK.,
have you gathered this rumour of a UPDF Officer trying to stage a rebellion against the Govt. of Uganda in Masindi's Murchison Falls park? Cfr. Red Pepper news letter.
Advise these people that we want peace and not war. War is violence and violence breeds violence. It is uncouth to distablise a country which is seeking peaceful solutions with Kony.
You can use your media advantage to make them see sense.
Concerned Citizen,
Wanseko, Masindi.

FDLR: No military solution to Rwanda/Congo conflict
FDLR warns warmongers
Paris based Democratic Liberation Forces of Rwanda (FDLR) Executive Secretary, Callixte Mbarushimana
has said that the problem of the presence of the FDLR in the DRC is a Rwandan political problem which must be settled out politically through dialogue and not by force of arms.
"Following the agreement between Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) to conduct joint operations to dismantle their troops," said Mbarushimana in a statement issued December 8.
He added; "The FDLR are not the cause of insecurity in the eastern province and in the provinces of North and South Kivu in the DRC."
He also denied; "The FDLR are not involved in the ongoing fightings in eastern DRC."
"The existence of an armed opposition to the Kigali regime has its origins in the politics of discrimination, oppression, exclusion and extermination of the Rwandan people currently prevailing in Rwanda and must therefore find a peaceful political settlement," says Mr. Mbarushimana.
He argued the stakeholders in the conflict that; "This settlement requires a direct dialogue between the Kigali regime and its armed and unarmed opposition particularly the FDLR."
"Any solution based on the desire to destroy militarily the FDLR is not only counterproductive but also extremely dangerous because it could plunge the entire region into a fratricidal, dreadful and long war, and whose consequences are immeasurable," he strongly warned.
In a parental tone Mbarushimana advised that: "The FDLR call on the responsibilities of the Rwandan and Congolese Authorities not to bring their respective peoples in a new bloody and unnecessary war."
"The FDLR reaffirm their commitment to peace and are willing to participate in all initiatives aimed at achieving peace and stability in the African Great Lakes region by peaceful means in which they will have been involved," in his statement Mbarushimana told all the leaders in Great Lake Region who are interested in securing peace in the region.
He further said: "The FDLR renew their commitments made to date in particular those made in Rome on 31 March 2005 and formally invite Rwanda to join the process towards a lasting peace in the African Great Lakes region."
"The FDLR urge the UN and the African Union to support positively and without reserve the Rome process for a negotiated agreement between all parties involved in the crisis of the African Great Lakes region," he urgued the UN and African Union.

M7-PK-Nkunda, how deep is their relationship?
Radio Katwe I was discussing issues of the great lakes region with some very credible personality over the weekend and an intriguing "revelation" came out:
There is a rumour that Museveni and Kagame are blood relatives through their mothers. Are there sources who can try to make this link? It could possibly answer the riddles of RPA deaths. Remember Museveni was in USA when RPA struck, and so was Kagame!
And is there a way to get to the history of Laurent Nkundabatware? Who is he and how is he connected to Tuhaburwa and Kagame?

More "witchcraft" cases coming
Greetings to all Rk fans, A few months back, Rk published an letter about how M7 planned to use trumped up human sacrifice allegations to disable strong members of the opposition particularly in Buganda. Now, with the breakthrough in the Kato Kajubi case, the press and publicity has generated an atmosphere of fear among the public. The stage is now set for the Kabaka or senior officials in his govt to be framed for this. The devil feels that such baseless allegations would now find a favourable atmosphere to stick. Do not forget that M7 thrives on generating fear and then stepping in like a liberator. We have eyes inside the security services and this is the chatter we are picking up, it could hit anyone even Ssebagala. It is being planned for someone who already dabbles in traditional medicine and of whom such allegations would be believable.
The Kato Kajubi scenario has just given YK Tihaburwa a new weapon for mayhem. He can now widen his arsenal instead of just falsely accusing opponets of terrorism and the occasional rape. Members of the opposition be warned. From ISO watcher

Bishop poking Mugabe but tolerates log in his own eye
Dear editor once again for good work. May I say through your paper that this politician turned clergy man Bishop Sentamu should stop politicking in peoples lives in stead he should talk of the church which is in a mess. He is very busy talking of removing Mugabe from power as if Mugabe is from Uganda, what about Museveni?
People are leaving on one meal a day, there are no good hospitals even Mulago has no good facilities, infact I am very sad to see Mulago in the state it is now. We saw a programe from the BBC Panorama which shocked us, patients are actually sleeping on the floor. When people like Mike Mukula having his palace with soldiers guarding him. Is this the Uganda of today? These are the things Sentamu should talk about not Mugabe.
Yours Aluma UK
update on Bishop Sentamu
Dear RK,
In response to Aluma (Bishop poking Mugabe but tolerates log in his own eye...)
Brother Aluma, you see, Sentamu also has a 'job' to do. He has to be seen to be aware of current 'World Events' that are in the news in the UK, and make the 'right' comments. Museveni is not 'hot news' - the reasons why are another story.
I actually sent Sentamu an email sometime ago asking him why he wasn't commenting on Uganda instead of sleeping in a tent - indoors moreover - but never got the courtesy of a reply from his office. You can see why he chose to 'camp' here (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/4787855.stm)
The silence spoke for itself and, it's sad to say, I wasn't surprised.
I also saw that Panorama program and was thoroughly disgusted by it.
May God help us.

When Museveni thirsted for more Rwandan blood
Ugandan President incites killings
Amnesty International News Release, 26 January 1998
Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni's recent calls for executions of perpetrators of the 1994 genocide in Rwanda is deplorable and will only serve to perpetuate the cycle of bitterness and revenge in the Great Lakes region, Amnesty International said today.
"The current level of killings, including of people suspected of involvement in, and survivors of the genocide, is already intolerable," the organization said. "Such an incitement, especially by a prominent political leader, could easily be interpreted by some as a call on ordinary Rwandese citizens to kill those they believe to have been involved in the genocide."
During a visit to Rwanda on 11 January President Museveni reportedly told students at the National University of Rwanda at Butare that the organizers of the genocide "must be hanged and the sooner the better.... If you kill six of my children, you should be sure that I will kill you. If the government does not do it, I will do it myself".
These statements were followed by similar comments made by President Museveni on 21 January at a conference on Burundi held in Arusha, Tanzania. He was reported to have said that the United Nations (UN) should execute those convicted [by the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR)] of genocide in Rwanda to avert a cycle of violence. Media reports quoted him as saying, "The international community must hang them -- and the sooner the better. The crime was capital and the punishment must be capital. Either the UN does it, or the Rwanda Government does it, or the families do it".

update 14 Dec 2008
Somalis being settled in Uganda
Hei Radio Katwe, I remember when I was growing up that there was a Ugandan named Okello who was a King in Zanzibar. This reminded me of something happening in Uganda now: Museveni is from Rwanda and he is a President of Uganda, giving away land and scholarships to his fellow Rwandese. Soon or later they will kick Museveni out and take over power.
Remember the story of a man who was thrown out of his tent when he gave shelter to a camel? Trust the Rwandese - they are very patient people - in the end they win.
I understand from the Somalis living here that he has started wooing them because they look like the hima of Ankole. They are also over the country but especially in Western Uganda trying to learn the local languages. They have adopted local names of the districts and soon will be issued with Uganda passports. When it comes to voting in 2011 - watch out: Rwandese and Somalis will vote for their man.
Thanking you in advance
