Reaction to "The Rwandan Government Needs looks like this"
Last updated : 24 June 2008, Kampala

I want to react to your story "The Rwandan Government Needs looks like this"

This story suggest that PK looked frustrated by his people's performance. The story also depicts PK an innocent leader. With all due respect, PK made recommendable achievements in the past. He seemed determined to fight corruption, etc. But, it is clear that PK has got a personality crisis. He does not accommodate any independent thinker. He wants only to work with people he can 'pocket'.

I also disagree that PK does not discriminate against the Hutu and Twa. Why is it that almost all public institutions are led by Tutsi? Is it because there are no Hutu educated people? PK has failed to work on power sharing among the different people of Rwanda and, certainly, this guy might look strong today but very soon he will come down. Look at his current Cabinet. He lacks a think tank for his government . It is not because there are no Rwandans that can help him or even do better than him, it is only because PK does not want any challenge.

PK also thinks he can tell lies to all people all the time. Yeah, he has managed to 'cheat ' the world that his government is not corrupt, that he does not discriminate against the Hutu and the Twa, that him and his men did not commit crimes against humanity and even genocide, etc. But, I think one day the truth will be told.

Ask him, is it possible that out of the 9 or so million Rwandans he is the only person who has a vision for Rwanda? Why is he the judiciary, the legislature and the executive - PK is everything in Rwanda. By the way, it will be harder to uproot PK than it is to uproot Mugabe from power. Wait and see.
