As Ugandans continue to be shocked by the evil things that Major General Mugisha Muntu did as director of NRA military intelligence, we are also continuing to get mail from people who are defending him and others who are saying he was a man who tortured Ugandans.
We have just got this one from an officer in CMI who is defending Muntu and explaining how CMI works:
Please radio Katwe, I work with military intelligence and I am reliably aware that what we do in military intelligence is to execute tasks given on orders from the president.
When you fail to do that or oppose the idea, you will be labelled a "Kipinga" (saboteur). The president uses us and then starts killing us to destroy evidence! Am sure you know what is happening! You can see what happened to my former boss Brig. Mayombo!
Maj Gen. Mugisha Muntu should not be blamed for the mess that happened when he
was DMI. President Paul Kagame of Rwanda when he was in the NRA directorate of military intelligence killed many people on the president's order.
The president is the biggest fish, the top most killer, the one who exploits others for his own benefit. Thanks.

Does Mugisha Muntu know the person who shot dead Andrew Kayiira? As boss of military intelligence in NRA, Muntu must have some big secrets as a lot of dirty things happened during his time. Even if he was just taking orders, which by the way is a lame defence, at least he should be knowing that. Or are we going to fear that it is not yet time to tell the real truth? When will that time come?
