Thank you so much for the great job of informing us (Ugandans and Rwandans) about the happenings within our rotten systems, or should I call them governments!
Today, I will focus on Rwanda. We have been reading about the notorious Spy Dr. Ndahiro and what he is doing to fellow Rwandans, more especially the former New Times editor, Sanyu.
It's very unfortunate that innocent people like Sanyu could be harassed by criminals like Ndahiro, just because og greed for power!
However, I want to differ from the previous contributors on this case. They ask the president (Kagame) to intervene! I want to inform those people that they are not informed and therefore do not know what they are talking about.
Let me inform you that nothing can ever take place in Rwanda without the knowledge of Kagame. From business, to civilian administration, to military, to normal street life, Kagame is informed even more that the spies like Ndahiro.
Rwanda is like a TV screen and Kagame is holding the remote control!
Now, does any one want to say that the president should be asked to intervene, because he doesn't know about it?
Let me tell you one thing, Ndahiro is acting on behalf of his boss, kagame.
Kagame does not trust any body, not even his wife, or children. He has developed a feeling that most RPF leaders want to eliminate him (which may be true!), and he has developed his network, which includes Ndahiro to protect him.
That is why he can't stop Ndahiro from what he is doing, otherwise Ndahiro would join other enemies and Kagame would be at risk.
It's true that Kagame has done some good things for the country. But I reject the notion by some people (especially some ugandan news papers that receive money from Kagame through Ndahiro to talk good of him-Kagame) that Kagame is clean, free of corruption and so on! He has done more bad things than good things.
One journalist in uganda recently took a "tour" to kigali, Rwanda. After seeing how clean Kigali city is, compared to Kampala, he concluded that Kagame is bringing silent revolution to Africa!
Reason: Because Kagame is taking care of children, giving then "laptops" or one laptop one child, and the learned journalist ended by attacking ugandan leaders who take their children to study abroad and leave the poor kids to suffer, instead of doing like kagame has done, that is, to develop education system for all children in Rwanda including his (Kagame's)!
Did this guy do his research before writing the article!? Did this journalist know that Kagame's children do not study in Rwanda?
His son is a student in Boston. Do we have any city called Boston in Rwanda?
You know, I am not a journalist by profession. But what some journalists are doing is unbelievable!
They are just money-journalists!! They go, meet Ndahiro, he gives them money, tell them what he wants written, about him, Kagame or Rwanda!!
To some people, Kagame is Rwanda and Rwanda is Kagame! RPF is Kagme and Kagame is RPF! Rwanda is moving towards serious problems if this attitude does not change, and now.
We are here talking about Sanyu, because Sanyu was a big man and a journalist. He is known by many. We are now calling the attention of all who can help.
But do we know how many people are in the Ndahiro's safe houses? I mean those poor chaps who are not known by most of us.
Do you want to tell me that Ndahiro operates the safe houses without the consent of kagame? People are just joking!
There is a very serious problem within the RPF, due to the Kagame-Ndahiro network.
We have had President Pasteur Bizimungu made to resign, then arrested and we all know the story. We have had the speaker Sebarenzi Kabuye, the Prime Minister Celeciti Rwigyema, escape the death! We have seen many senior army officers, businessmen, students, flee their country. Of recent we have read from Radio katwe about the wife of late Maj. Gen. Fred Rwigyema. Stay tuned, as we shall know the truth.
Acording to Kagame-Ndahiro network, if you belong to the above group and you are a Hutu, they say you are linked to genocide or its ideology.
If you belong to the above group and you are Tutsi, you are corrupt, a thief e.t.c.
If you try to reason differently from Kagame, and can't say "yes sir" all the time Kagame says something, you are "umwanzi wigihu" (enemy of the state)!! So, Kagame is now a state!
My friends, there is a very serious problem over there! Do you think a person like Karegyeya, Kagame's former spy chief is a fool? Where is he now? Find out.
Conclusion: People should not always try to separate Ndahiro from Kagame, Kagame knows everything.

The Truth, Kigali
TRUE, THE FORMER NEW BOSS IS FEARED DEAD

I am a regular reader of your informative website, and the rumour circulating about the possible death of journalist and former Managing Director of The New Times and Contact FM has been confirmed from reliable sources close to his family. Though ofcourse his family is still pleading with the Ndahiro the killer to kindly handover his body to them to enable them give him a decent burial.
The family member (who pleaded with me not to reveal his identity because of his security) has confirmed that JB was arrested or kidnapped by unknown Ndahiro's security operatives on the night on 4th October 2008, and since then he's never been seen.
He added that, efforts to rescue him from the hands of Ndahiro and give him a decent send off has been met with resistance. Instead Ndahiro is busy misleading the Rwandan government and the public that JB is hiding and being followed up the courts of law.
I wanted to know why JB's family suspect that Ndahiro is responsible for the kidnap and death of their beloved son, this family member revealed to me that JB fell out with Ndahiro way back in 2004 because the latter wanted to use the former to settle his personal scores with some big leaders in government who may have had some disagreements with him. JB is known both by his friends and family of being categorical and professional, and therefore attempts by Ndahiro (Chairman of the Board of Directors) to smuggle in The New Times his fabricated stories were met with alot of resistance from JB.
According to some of other source, Ndahiro fell out with JB because at one time, the former had tried to marry a sister to JB's wife (called Davina, and now happily married to Milenge, the MD of Electrogaz) but the family flatly rejected him. Later, he tried to snatch JB's wife (who at a time was a student living in United kingdom) but this mission too never succeeded. It is unbelievable how Ndahiro's failure to quench his sexual thirst with these ladies would eventually lead to such harassment and alleged death of JB. It is however a fact that Ndahiro is known to have a strong passion and zeal (obsession cum virus) of snatching people's wives, and would make their husbands suffer, rot in prison after fabricating lots of charges (as usual using the CID and prosecution office) as a way of grabbing their wives.
Pressed hard to share with me their next move, the family member said that they are still optimistic that President Kagame could intervene and save JB from detention or influence his spy to handover JB's body to be laid to rest.
Later I visited JB's residence in Kicukiro, and was met with resistance from suspected security operatives who apparently seem to have taken over the home for unknown reasons. They could not allow me to enter, and my pleas fell on their deaf ear. From a distance, I noticed that it must be a deserted home. The rumour that the wife and kids are hiding could be true, or perhaps are in the house but under house arrest.
Efforts to talk to the neighbours proved futile as most of them did not know or have any clue of what was taking place.
Indeed it is sad that Ndahiro can end Sanyu's life in such a ruthless manner. Like most people in Kigali and world over, H.E Kagame has the mandate and moral responsibility to clear the air about the actions of his spy and cousin and the disappearance of JB.
As for Ndahiro, history will one day judge him harshly. The cries of Sanyu's family members and many others families will one day haunt him or his family.
DISAPPEARANCE, KIDNAPPING OR DEATH OF RWANDA'S JOURNALIST

I am a media practitioner and human rights activist working in Burundi. I am grateful that your website has informed us about my friend and colleague in the media industry who may have allegedly been kidnapped and killed by Rwanda's intelligence boss.
I must confess that the last time I met Jean Bosco Sanyu was early this year in Kigali. Truly he's been suffering in the hands of his tormentors and probable killers. On inquiring why he had quit the media industry, he openly as he usually did that his life has been in danger, and that the best of option to save his life and avoid being eliminated by his former boss at The New Times was to just quit and do something else. He's been since involved in consultancy work. Even then, his former boss made sure that he could not get work. In short, the guy has just been suffering, and I can't rule out the fact that Ndahiro kidnapped him and murdered him.
The sad part of all this sage is the fact that Ndahiro has been using (or misusing) the judiciary and the Prosecutor's office to persecute comrade Sanyu. Rwanda's judiciary is a total circus, and some killers like Ndahiro have managed to manipulate this institution (though not worth the name) to pass biased judgment.
For example, the entire CID, Prosecution and Judiciary should explain to us the authenticity of Orinfor audit that is the basis of the allegation and sentence passed against Bosco. Any sane person knows that an audit is carried out by an authorized, competent and legal firm. But this is appears to be irrelevant to Ndahiro and Bideri, who in 2005 picked two employees of Orinfor (a government media organization) to make an external audit. Ladies and Gentlemen, this is a document that all the above mentioned institutions (CID, Prosecution and the learned judge) based her judgment! One would be right to say that Rwanda runs kangaroo court...!
One wonders how Ndahiro (though feared by many leaders in government expect Kagame) could dupe Mary Gahonzire (Kuramba Tony), Martin Ngoga and the judiciary (through Judge Nyiramikenke claudine who shamely passed sentence to an already kidnapped or dead man).
As told by a friend after learning about the kidnap and possible murder of Bosco, that this will not only haunt Ndahiro as a person but also the Rwandan government for a violation of human rights and press media.
The independent media in Rwanda (only visibly through Umuseso, Rushyashya and Umuvugizi) should investigate and make known to the world how journalist like Bosco have been kidnapped and liquidated just like that...
If truly Bosco met his death as being said in Kigali, then may his soul rest in eternal peace. He may have gone physically but he will be remembered by some of us who studies and worked with him.
Like others, the Rwandan President should not be seen siding with his intelligence boss and chairman of The New Times board, since Ndahiro occupies the two offices not by nomination but by appointment from President Kagame himself. True, Ndahiro could be doing all these nasty things behind his (Kagame) back, but now the ball is in his (Kagame) hands. Either he (Kagame) has to side with the killer or side with justice and call his intelligence chief to order. As suggested by many, I expect the President to urgently make a substantial effort of addressing this sad moment that has engulfed Bosco's family and friends.
Mr. President, I and others are patiently waiting for your kind intervention. The Bible tells us that it is only the truth that will set us free! So Excellency, find out the truth and share it with us.

I am in Kigali and that sad news reaching you about the sadden death of journalist and former MD of The New Times and Radio Contact Fm is true.
Ndahiro has had a hand in it, and everybody is heartbroken since early this month when Sanyu was kidnapped from home and taken to an unknown place (possible a safe house). His family members and friends can not access him.
Radio katwe, please keep informing the world about this sad moment as it is impossible for any paper to write about it. Ndahiro has both the money and the influence (like Stalin in Russia) to silence and kill whoever questions his decisions.
Meanwhile I appreciate your effort to break the news about the departure of JB, and keep up.
