Ndahiro's refusal to release JB Sanyu casts doubt on Rwanda's rule of law and respect for human rights
Who says that some people are not above the law? Dr Ndahiro has proved to those who still believe in a country governed by the rule of law and observed by all citizens irrespective of their social status.
The public, JB's family and friends and media scribes are still living in a shock after Dr E. Ndahiro, the Rwanda intelligence boss kidnapped Sanyu Jean Bosco, a reknown journalist, editor and administrator in Rwanda who was once the Managing Director of both The New Times and Radio Contact FM.
It has been widely reported on this website that JB as Sanyu is popularly known disappeared on or around 13 October 2008 and has not been seen till this day. Neither Dr Ndahiro nor the government has come out clearly to deny the fact that the former is not holding him in unknown detention.
Regarded as 'treacherous' by many in Kigali, Dr Ndahiro, as usual with the help of his ally Bideri Joseph (current MD of The New Times) is busy trying to dupe the whole public by running CID adverts looking for JB Sanyu.
Dr Ndahiro, be reminded that the public is not as stupid and naive as you think! And today you may think (perhaps believe) that you are above the law, feared by everyone in town (because you boast to be close and a cousin to the President) but the whole world is aware that you are either holding JB is your 'safe house' or may have already murdered him.
Once again the public knows very well that you got rid of Sanyu because you saw him as a threat and a stumbling block to your mischievous plans of bringing down those you think are a threat to your presidential ambition. Your wish to use the paper to destroy the credibility of those you perceive to harbor the same ambition was achieved when you sacked JB and brought aboard your historical sycophant Bideri.
For history has never been the best teacher for the spy boss, but it won't be long for the President to screw him up. The likes of Rose Kabuye who have gallantly served their country are being followed up unjustly, but the real criminal Dr Ndahiro who should be arrested and brought to face the law alongside Joseph Kony and others at the Hague is still at large.
It is annoying how Dr Ndahiro has been manipulating institutions by failing journalists yearning to work professionally in a free media environment, threatening local investors and business men and women in Rwanda who fail to remit to him a 10% 'commission' (and yet these should create employments opportunities for the youth), influence district advisory councils to throw out local leaders elected by people because of his greed for power (wanting to make them followers/disciples) in his quest for presidency.
Dr Ndahiro's arrogance makes everyone reflect with concern on Rwanda's record of good governance and the role of institutions and their independence in as far as dispensing justice is concerned, observance of human rights, the media freedom and the rule of law.

1.
Thank you Radio Katwe.
It's sasd when Mr. Karawa of Butare Rwanda compares Kony with Dr.Ndiharo.
1. Does he knows who Kony is and what he is fighting for?
2. What are the similarities between Kony and Ndhiharo?
First and foremost, he needs to research prior to putting some article on public media.
Kony is not corrupt, greedy and killing people in cold blood. Kony is a REBEL whereas Ndiharo is a government agent with office and on government payroll.
As a recap Mr. Karangwa needs to know the essence of war in Northeren Uganda.
1.Without Kony taking up arms against Museveni and NRA they would have castrated all male in Acholiland, anyhow they managed to raped men and women alike. They did abominable acts in Acholi land whereby they defecated in our water pots and cooking pots and poison our wells. Burnt our granaries, homes and slashed crops from the gardens. Mr. Karangwa, leave Acholi and Kony alone to settle their indifferences don't open the old wounds. What happened in Rwnada is not even close to what Museveni did in Acholi land because Kony was there defending his people agasinst masquerading forces. Don't get me wrong I don't support Kony for some atrocities he committed but he did protected Acholiland and some of the inhabitants from being lynched as some of the NRA's proudly says that "they killed Acholi as chicken". What goes around comes around.
Thanks
