Dear Radio Katwe Readers,

I have been following the stories of the Militarization of the State (call it Modernization of the Presidential Protection if you like) and I know the writers are spot on.

Personally, I have decided to undertake a big project on President M7 because of my concern and love for His Excellency. My fear is that this man is about to go into Uganda's history as a footnote or another small time dictator rather than his true worthy company of big boys such as Bokassa of CAR, Idi Amin, kuku wa Zabanga in Zaire or the Ngwazi in the warm heart of Africa, Malawi. So your Excellency here is an opportunity for you to help us fill in the dots and tell your part of the story to Radio Katwe readers. Remember we want only the truth and not fabrications that your detractors tell about you, or those you sometimes coin in your great brain.

Methodology

If the management of RK gives me the space I will be setting topics for discussion on the Radio on a weekly basis. Topics will be like M7 and corruption. Then if a Radio Katwe reader knows any corrupt tendencies on his Excellency they can send it via the Radio Katwe "write to us" link. After cross-checking this RK may wish to publish it and then I can add this response to my file under the appropriate theme. Remember in giving your entry it may be helpful to try to be as exact as possible, give dates or months or years, places where the act (crime) took place. The associates in the act(s) and what was done.

The themes will be broad and include such aspects as
(i) M7, Lies, the Truth, Straight Talk and Double Talk
(ii) M7 Economic Development and Mismanagement ? the Myths, Our Reality and His World
(iii) M7's friends who disappeared
(iv) M7's Friends and Enemies
(v) M7 and how he manages the Donors and International Community
(vi) M7 and His Peasants
(vii) M7 Institutional Development or Erosion etc.

To start off, I propose that this week we handle the Topic of President M7, Religion and the Occult. For instance as you know, your Excellency, we know you are a deeply religious man. On the one hand you were a Saveddee in Ntare etc for sometime. Your wife is a Born Again Christian. Your Daughter Patience is a Pastor and has her own Church etc.

On the other hand, in the bush some people tried to introduce you to traditional healers to help you with the war. Initially you had informed us that you refused to go to these healers. Recently you confused us and said you actually visited some of these healers.

On another note, your Excellency the Runyankore Weekly Orumuri sometime back (it must have been around 1996) gave a story of how a certain fortune teller by the names of Kibunu was visited by you, your lovely wife Janet and daughter Natasha. According to the story Kibunu told you that you would rule Uganda up to 2011. It looks you are headed for that period already.

We have also in more recent months seen traditional healers visiting your State Lodge at Nakasero and being arrested (but never prosecuted) and this is appearing again in the official press.

Now that is where the published facts stop. The open talk around Katwe is that
(a) There was a woman from Ntusi who you permanently hosted at State Lodge Nakasero. This woman is one of the Bacwezi Occulists.
 
(b) That the Bwebajja Hotel which is supposed to belong to Mr. Behakanira Joseph and his wife Gudra is actually largely your project and Janet's . Unfortunately, in its construction you displeased some of the traditional satanic powers and that is why it collapsed and killed people.

Remember your Excellency I am doing this to ensure your life is given its proper perspective and anyway as long as you live on public resources (our taxes), the public has the right to know who you are.
