Reader from Swaziland
Dear RadioKatwe.
Let me thank you first for the wonderful job you're doing in revealing the political evils of the Kampala regime.
Here In Swaziland most Ugandans appreciate your work and Radio katwe has gained tremendous credibility even to the skeptics.
My Comments
I am sure that all democratic and peace loving people of Uganda have been following the political drama as played by One Robert Mugabe in Zimbabwe, now the self imposed leader of Zimbabwe.
We have astonishingly witnessed the reaction of President Mbeki of South Africa, SADC( Southern Africa Development Community ), and Recently in Egypt, the quiet though bold endorsement of Mugabe by the African Union head of States, Including Museveni of our "democratic" Uganda.
Official Opposition: Zimbabwe/Uganda
Difference Between the political drama in Uganda and Zimbabwe is nil. Both Museveni and Mugabe are expert murderers who are not willing to stand opposition from anyone even GOD himself. They will do anything in their evil minds to stay in power for life, even in the face of blatant failure and denouncement by the electorate.
Uganda's Opposition
Our Massage to Uganda's opposition, is: You need to give us a choice, an alternative to Museveni like the Zimbabweans have done. Much as Mugabe embarrassingly refuses to concede defeat and relinquish power to the opposition, opting instead to take support from his African counterparts and holding the people of Zimbabwe hostages by forcefully imposing himself the president, the international community knows who the legitimate leader of Zimbabwe is.
In Uganda we are faced with a political deadlock as our opposition leaders seem to have no idea about running a government and later on campaign to get there.
We do not find sense and substance in campaign slogans like "omusajja(akasajja) tumukooye agende". I dont believe such can win
an election clearly against a clandestine dictator like Museveni.
The opposition should be able to form a political agnda drawing
on the failures and successes of Museveni and the past leaderships of Uganda if we are to see change. Otherwise considering the political emptiness of our opposition, Museveni and his guns will rule supreme even with the fact that rigging the elections is an act Museveni as perfected over the years even lending its wisdom to Kenya's Kibaki and to Zimbabwe's Mugabe.
Tujakumujawo does not win elections dear opposition, come up with a convincing manifesto and an effective way of communicating the same to win support and trust from us the electorate and the international community.
The opposition should also know that the entire country NOT the CITY only is important to win majority votes. We want to know the what you will do and what you denounce.NOW!
If you have not already prepared for 2011 know that Museveni has.
FOR GOD AND MY COUNTRY

Dear Radio Katwe,
Thank you for a welldone job of informing us about what is going on inside and outside Uganda.
This is for the writer in Swazilanda about the Uganda Opposition: Surely you could have come up with some suggestions. Positive critisism is good. Do not critisize unless you have an alternative.

A RESPONSE TO THE WRITER FROM SWAZILAND
It is always encouraging to listen to views from members of Ugandan community when they question the ability of the opposition to rule Uganda. It is even more painful when they sound like they are on the side of the opposition.
My friend from Swaziland, how will the opposition rule if Museveni and his generals will never allow it to?
Which school of governance did museveni go to in order to perfect tricks of ruling Uganda? It is the gun that gave him the chance!
Do you know and understand the harsh environment in which the Ugandan opposition operates in?
Your advice to the opposition is just a laugh.

Dear RK, thanks for the good work of letting people express themselves.
My comment is towards the writer who was replying to the Swaziland write. First of all this is a free voice, everybody is allowed to express themselves as you have expressed yourself You mention that "don't criticize if you don't have an alternative". I think the Swaziland writer stated very clearly what the problem is and if these so called opposition leaders have any brains (am not saying they don't), they should think hard at what the guy is saying and don't expect him to give them answers that would be spoon feeding them. He has done his job of pointing out what the problem is and I think it is a huge problem.
As for you, you couldn't even make an argument. Statements like "don't criticize if you don't have an alternative" don't help anyone at all.
As for me I would really like to know what you truelly think about the Swaziland writer's comments instead of just slagging him off. Ensonga ye erimu eggumba, so give yours instead of shying away from that big problem that is facing us unless if you don't see it.
Thanks 4 the opportnity. Joy
