To begin with allow me to thank you for your consistent exposure of the culprits that pawn Ugandans in the pretence of opposition while in reality they derive their livelihood from selling fellow Ugandans that are dissatisfied with the dictatorial and terror fabric in Uganda. This is quite noble since I have never noted any substantial challenge to the contrary of the many issues and personalities you have consistently exposed. In this regard I have quite a handful list of similar characters that you can expose in your esteemed paper. But as for now I would like to begin with two.
To put this in perspective requires a brief background explanation of the origin of the people, how they come to the scene and where they are now located and with what means available to execute their sinister intentions. In conclusion I will also offer some reasons and caution to whoever is dealing with such suckers so as to attest to the dictum “forewarned is forearmed.”
While present African politics is eschewed at the menace occasioned by dictator Mugabe of Zimbabwe, the obvious exposition for the highly potent occurrence in the immediate future in Uganda by dictator Museveni seems to be ignored by the world powers. Yet they will at the time pretend they did not know. Let them be informed.
It is now common knowledge that Tibuhaburwa – the dictator excites excellence in planting money loaded suckers in either organizations formed to oppose his establishment or he encourages the suckers to form such organizations into which they tactfully seek to recruit unsuspecting Ugandans opposed to his dictatorial regime. A mechanism he has effectively used to eliminate such democratically astute sons and daughters of the one time “pearl of Africa.” Where is Toko, Wapakabhulo, Ayume, Mayombo to mention just a few?
Rebel organizations such as NALU, FOBA, ADF, PRA and even LRA are machinations the dictator creates to hoodwink people to hate sections/ tribes and or even clans. Such categories become prone for elimination while at the same time it provides an avenue to successfully siphon the national resources of Uganda for personal gain. If the world does not know let it be known now that Uganda has sustained part of its territory in pain and blood and yet the world argues it is relatively peaceful.
Many NGOs and CSOs have also been created both in Uganda and in the Diaspora to improve the public image of the Ugandan Mugabe and his ZANU-PF called NRMO. These NGOs and CSOs work very closely with the security systems (ISO, ESO, Presidential Guard Division, and the security operatives in Embassies and High Commissions etc). Examples here in include Kalangala Action Plan (KAP), International Youth Efforts to Combat AIDS (IYECA), War Veterans Associations, and the Reservists who comprise of retired Officers and men in UPDF and yet they are on monthly pay roll instead of pension. These machinations are even better facilitated now since 2011 is just near the corner and given Tibuhaburwa has now declared his 6th term intention public. As for the Diaspora there are also such NGOs in America, Canada, UK, Sweden, and now South Africa where there has been the recent Internet circulation of another called Uganda Civil Action Network (UCAN). Ugandans both inside and outside please, beware!
This now brings me to present the profiles of the first two men now in the fray on the above errand in South Africa with connections in America, United Kingdom (UK), Sweden, Sudan, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) to mention but a few countries of their contacts.
The first of these is an Alex Magezi. A born of Kamwezi in Kabale and an ardent supporter of NRM who albeit age and experience was the Marketing Manager of British American Tobacco (BAT) before he pretended to run into exile to align with Col. Mande and Lt Col Kyakabale in Rwanda in 2001. While there, reliably, this guy coined and sent to Uganda (in a personal laptop computer) documents that were said to be about PRA, in October 2001. Unknown to the Kyakabale group this was an in-plant with funding and facilitation directly from dictator Museveni. On the successful relocation of the two (Kyakabale and Mande) by UNHCR to Sweden, this guy (Alex) disappeared mysteriously from Rwanda and only surfaced in Nairobi with Ugandan passport and moved over to South Africa. He relocated briefly to Botswana, and send emissaries to USA and UK. Back to South Africa he moved to stay in Cape Town with an ISO operative, and later on received his full documents of credence and moved to take full residence in Pretoria where he has belatedly been working for an NGO (code named … Hospice South Africa based in Durban and yet he is more in Pretoria than Durban). He gets full financial backing from the Government of Uganda. He is now associated with the above UCAN – NGO, pretending to be an FDC supporter but overseeing political activities of NRMO opponents in South Africa from within. This man drives a posh car, and is not bothered by the fuel soaring costs. He also rents a posh bungalow for residence and a so-called office in Pretoria where he is overseeing matters related to Sudan, and Eastern Europe – Sweden, being a major country of charge. Ugandans in South Africa, take heed.
The second person born from Bushenyi is called Tom Mugizi – a Major in UPDF who also belatedly exiled himself in Rwanda in 2003 in the guise of going to join the shadowy PRA of the Alex Magezi group. He serves UPDF in Intelligence and also moved to South Africa in 2004. While in South Africa, he resided for some time together with Alex Magezi in the home of a certain Bahati Yamungu an ESO operative based in Cape Town - SA. He was listed as wanted among the Ugandans in exile but he lives a posh life, side by side with the Ugandan Embassy security operatives. He also drives an old yellow Mercedes Benz whose high fuel consumption does not worry him at all. He tells people he interacts with, that he works as a Teacher in a school founded by a Ugandan. Reliable information has it that he earns R 1,500 only but his life style is 20 times that meager earning. He was also sited to have moved on errands into DRC that is not related to his work. Besides he has no asylum problems. In short the Government of Uganda through its Embassy in SA properly accredited him. So one is forced to question whether there are any such FDC Members with benefits from Government of Uganda both inside Uganda and in the Diaspora?
The concrete conclusion is that the two people are government agents who are masquerading as members of opposition to front the causes of the Ugandan dictatorship. Those associating with them for either the purpose of opposing the government in Kampala or to raise money to support a so-called opposition in the guise of human rights need to be warned that they should be careful or they will be noted in Semwogerere's Black Book.
I would now like to conclude but not before I give my reasons of undertaking this exposition exercise otherwise I stand to be labeled a malicious slanderer bent on tarnishing the good image of the two. Please take note of the following:
I am an ardent supporter of democracy who gets hurt when I know that there are some leopards dressed in sheep skin who wish to enjoin with realistic members of the opposition in order to undermine consistent and principled political opposition. Secondly it should be recalled that Ugandans in South Africa have always supported democracy. Impostors such as the above two and others to be profiled later should not be allowed to infiltrate and deter the determined efforts of the majority Ugandans in South Africa who do not want Uganda to be the next Zimbabwe. Thirdly people like the two above who have amateurish intelligence know-how, if not exposed shall use their exploitative interests to impoverish well meaning Ugandans and supporters into contributing financially to enrich a few people of democratic bad faith. In the end the dictatorship in Kampala will thrive. Remember contributions of the people in the Diaspora is a major Revenue for the incumbent government although these contributors wanted in the first place to support their kith and kin but have ended up offering good levies worth recognizing in the National Budget. The people in opposition and especially in the Diaspora have good technical and intellectual capacity to discern the truth from lies in respect of the above given profiles. Finally those that have been briefly exposed above should dare challenge this expose lest the full wrath of facts about them will be brought to the fore.
Dear readers, join me in thanking Radio Katwe once again for its express effort to expose those that do not wish Uganda and Ugandans well by both allowing themselves to be used as pawns and encouraging open dictatorship in Uganda that will soon unveil worse scenario than that of Zimbabwe. There are quite many people profiled as such already in docket, but suffice for this time to zero down on two above in South Africa. Please remember the above five solid reasons offer ground to have them exposed to enable good meaning people in opposition to weed out ill intentioned intruders.

Maj. Tom Mugizi was planted together with Capt Kiwanuka into the so called PRA by Tumukunde when he was ISO chief. After they spied on the Col. Mande group they were kept in the safe house that used to house Maj Fuluma of Rwanda in makindye next to Kasirye Gwanga's residence. Later he was deployed in the passport ofice. Capt kiwanuka was sent to the east as comander of ASTU, detained in Makindye and then released and promoted to Major.

Once again the editor has occasioned the question of their credibility as a reliable source of news analysis. After reading the above article Profiling double agents and supporters of Ugandan dictatorship in the opposition By Mike Akiiki, Norway; I can only say you are no better than the Red pepper. History has taught us that those who are overzealous about exposing the so called double agents might indeed be the ones who provide cover for the real double agents or are in cohorts with the real double agents.
To use claims that one drives a posh car not bothered by the high fuel costs, and rents posh bungalow as justification to qualify the label of a double agent is no better than disgraceful. Mike Akiiki's proclaimed profile is nothing but a pack of confabulations in a desperate attempt to profane logic and facts. We have been through this game of labeling other people we don't like just because they have made a break through; as double agents. Once again it's Ugandans who loose out in the face a dictator who has planted his operatives to create fear among the citizenry through these endless lists of double agents and operatives. There is no doubt that we have some double agents out here in the diasporas, but to label somebody a double agent, the burden of proof lies with you and you ought to bring hard facts to back up your allegations and not just some twisted concoctions only aimed at slandering somebody's image.
I can bet that Mike Akiiki is just another NRM-O cadre probably based in South Africa, with a reasonable understanding of the daily dynamics in South Africa, but very ignorant to appreciate that the H/Q of Hospice S Africa is not Durban, and neither is the National Monitoring & Evaluations Manager of Hospice bound at a given station fulltime. And to claim that an exilee can't make a break through and lead a descent life style or that Tom Mugizi who is among the most wanted elements by CMI is a double agent on account of the fact that he drives a Mercedes Benz is just despicable.
Radio Katwe doesn't speak for the opposition and with this kind of reporting whose sole purpose is disparaging the images of genuine citizens in exile only reinforces the perception that it's a creation of the dictator. The author claims to be an ardent supporter of democracy who gets hurt when he knows that there are some leopards dressed in sheep skin who wish to enjoin with realistic members of the opposition in order to undermine consistent and principled political opposition. Mike, I hope you are the person you claim to be, but supporters of democracy do corroborate stories and analyze facts and don't just sherry pick stories for slandering expediency. So far you have exposed nothing, other than yourself as a calculative slanderer whose intention is to divert our attention at identifying the real double agents out here. That country needs a strong opposition, and that course won't be helped by anything that promotes fear and undermines efforts to promote cohesion. The two people you have helped disparage are genuine hard-working Ugandan exiles, who have strived to make a break through, and you should have bothered to cross-check the information you got from your source. For instance did you know Alex's wife is fully employed and might be earning fives your monthly earnings, so the salary of the two put together at the end of the month is a package most professionals can only dream of.
So editor, my advice to you is, use your judgment and wit to save your face from further embarrassment. You know the story is false; the right thing to do is to retract the story, and apologise to the two people you have help slander.
